Which TV show did you watch lastֻ

Nah, too easy

Garage People. I flicked over to BBC 4 last night and this was on. I was mesmerised, thought I was watching an art movie, but it’s a nicely filmed and fascinating documentary on the real lives of these people in Northern Russia. If you can, find the whole documentary but here is the trailer.

I’m enjoying Knob Creek S1. Kind of like Lonesome Dove in a way

I’m addicted to Animal Kingdom. I think I’m going to rewatch Dexter before the new season comes out. Also getting caught up on the Expanse. Looks insane on a 150 inch screen

If I were to rewatch Dexter, I think I might skip Season 7, and I would definitely skip Season 8.

Yeah it did get a little slow. I think Season 1 was one of the best first seasons of any show I’ve seen.

I recently started binging ‘See’ the one with Jason Momoa and now Bautista in it. Pretty interesting - post-apocalyptic setting where all of humanity has lost sight for many centuries.

Just finished season four…
Brilliant series!

Just started watching Goliath on Amazon prime. Pretty decent (: has a better call Saul / sneaky Pete vibe

NFL Red Zone
for ~ 20 minutes.

I think the writing and acting is so superb. I just wish they weren’t so slow to produce it. And now, a Season 5 is a vague possibility. The two lead actors, Cumberbatch and Freeman, would love to do it. It’s just a matter of all the logistical things working out with everyone’s contracts on other concerns.

There are some shows that I’m really looking forward to. New seasons of Dexter and Ray Donovan. There’s also a Sopranos prequel that I just heard about today: The Many Saints of Newark (2021) - IMDb

Waiting for Season 3 of Barry, as well as Season 4 of Westworld (Season 3 was not good), and Season 2 of Raised by Wolves.

Ray Donovan was cancelled, but they are doing a one off movie to end the series.

Westworld started out really amazing, despite the repetition being drawn out. I liked the way it developed… until the start of Season 3. The whole foundation of the series shifted. Lots of plausibility that was built up was thrown aside. A major letdown. I still enjoyed a good bit of Season 3, but I’m wary of what will transpire in Season 4.

I didn’t like the US version at all. I really liked Sherlock but Season 3 jumped the shark imo. For me, Season 1 was perfection. Season 2 was pretty good too but I didn’t really like their take on Moriarty. Season 2 was alright when I watched it but got worse when I thought about it more. One thing is for sure, the casting of Cumberbatch and Freeman was indeed perfection.

Ken Burns documentary on PBS about Muhammad Ali. I thought what more can be said but I found the first part interesting.

Anyone watching Squid Game?

Hmm, being that I don’t speak KR, I don’t.

I did find “Escape Room - Tournament Of Champions”, though. Looks fun.

Can’t read English subtitles?
