I am soon (when stuff arrives from .cn) going to be building some S2+ with 219Bs. What other high CRI emitters are worth trying just for comparison?

The right bins of SST-20’s are pretty good and again the right bins of the LH351D.

You should try some quad Nichia E17As. They work great in the S2+ with an OP reflector and frosted lens. Great tint and very high CRI.

And the Nichia E21A and Optisolis.

Try the B35A, uniform beam in clear optics whereas quad E17A/E21A need frosting, better optic compatibility too.
