Put a sw35 D200 in the Wuben D1 (orig. specs: 1100 lm/XP-L2 cw), highest mode is much more rosy than lower modes. Normal or a sign of too much current?

Tint shift with current is pretty normal for most LEDs, especially in this range for 219B. Theoretically they can survive a lot more than 3A, but the output peak isn’t a lot higher and personally I think they tend to get unpleasantly pink anyway.
Turning rosy at higher amps is normal and is fine.
If it starts to turn blue at high current, then you have a problem.
