Lumintop GT94X (4 or 8 * 21700 version of GT94). 24,000 lm. 2950m

I’m thinking we need something more like a giant version of the fireflies e07, with 7x sbt90.2 and 14x21700 batteries. With a giant reflector there’s no reason we can’t hit 7 mcd. Where’s Imalent when you need them…

I am keeping my eye on this one. Same emitters as the GT94? Same reflector wells diameter and depth? Four or eight 21700, instead of eight 18650. Where do the extra lumens and extra throw come from?

This thing sounds amazing… I usually wield my mighty Imalent MS18 and I have a Firefoxes FF5 HID that’s awesome too but this light just sounds like a monster.

The GT94 is a super awesome exuberant superlative light.

I want a third GT94, but I am going to wait to see what the specs of the X version are compared to the non-X version.

Ahh i was wondering how the specs increased so much. Didnt realize it has a more powerful driver. I wonder if it can still maintain turbo without overheating

Also like to know. Will order when available. Hopefully in the next two weeks.

A good battery like the Molicel P42A delivers 27A constant current without too many problems, the same cannot be said of any 18650 which is why it is possible to have a more powerful driver

Question is…. would the cell carrier with that would be required I assume with an extension tube be similar to that of the regular GT94 or with like the original GT’s cause I gotta say I very much dislike the new cell carrier.

See attachments as well.

So the GT94 was just $345, that makes the GT94X twice the price even with the short tube.

There are coupon codes available to reduce the price.

For three?

I can’t get 6000 lms from a Single 90.2 at 22 amps with 8 x 30Q’s with a TA driver.

They said that the GT94X drive 27A 28A at turbo mode.

I wonder how well it performs in keeping up the output over a longer period of time. I hope it won't drop like a rock. And I'm glad they don't use Anduril in this light.

The price is quite high even with coupons, we are talking about 480 $ without tube for 8 batteries, I think I will wait some time to see if and when the long version will be available and if the price could go down a bit ...

I have now seen on Nealsgadget that the tube for 8 batteries is sold separately for about another 60 $ so if I wanted the long version I would pay a total of about 540 $ which honestly is a bit too much for 4000 lumens of difference and 500 meters more of launch which then we still have to verify if they are true ...
