lost member

i was wondering if anyone remembers a member @bushwhacked his name was jeremy and he lived in nova scotia. he built really nice drop-ins.
i got to know him pretty well back then. we sent emails and txts back and forth on a regular basis. long story short. one day he disappeared from the forum.
he never answered any emails or txts even on his private email. his phone was disconnected and emails were undeliverable. i guess it is possible that he even
passed away, he was very young with a young son. but i would like to know one way or the other. so if anyone remembers him or has any information to share,
please contact me. my email is bladesmith3(at)outlook(dot com) thanks, gary

I remember bushwhacked, but I did not know him.

Sorry I can't help you.

I hope he's okay.

thanks for the response

I bought some drivers and a C8 from him —he was reasonable and had nice stuff —- I remember trying to contact him a couple months afterwards and it was like you said ( No Reply ) — I want to say that’s at least 3-4 yrs ago

I had another guy that I use to buy stencils from for Etching drinkware — It’s kind of the same thing — he vanished

In case anyone wanted to know, bushwhacked was last seen on BLF 6 years and 2 months ago, though it doesn't seem that long ago to me.

yeah i remember it well. i always figured that if he had a problem that he would have told me about it. makes me think the worst.
i had a friend in high school 60 odd years ago who went missing. the first time it ever happened where i grew up. the entire town
searched but nothing to this day ever turned up. sometimes knowing the truth is better then thinking about the possibilities.

I dropped out of flashlighting for 8+ years, it was no big deal, I just had other things going on. I wouldn’t worry without concrete info.

You’re not the only one that’is (was) looking for Bushwacked.

Try checking the obituaries in his area. I had something like that happen to me on a forum. An active member stopped posting. I knew his first name and the city he was from. Also knew he was a retired doctor. Checked the obits around the time he dropped out and found his. He had died suddenly of natural causes.

It looks like there was some kind of a deliberate pause on his flashlight activity, from what I can make of it:

- Consolidating members who do custom requests

maybe he enlisted to the army or something, could explain how he just vanished into the blue.
