Massive post on where to get lithium-ion batteries everywhere in the world! Look at Post 2-5 for info, And Canada Post 123

Best to remove Banggood from the list now as fakes have been received on many occasions

Nice to have a list of legit sources…. now just need them to stock up! :frowning:

That’s good to know, I’m looking for a good source here in the UK… I see that they sell Vapcell but I’m not so sure after reading the post about their QC

All Vapcell’s that are rewraps are of course decent, sometimes there’s a problem with some models. My K30’s were terrible, but they admitted the new batch would be improved. The high capacity 26650 was also terrible, but the G53 I have of theirs performs really well. I purchased 60 of them

@PiercingTheDarkness, thank you, will do so.

I ordered a dozen Samsung 18650’s from 18650canda, in August this year. All was good. Batteries are legit, no issues at all. Hard to get batteries shipped to Canada without high shipping costs.

Can’t remember for sure but think the prices included shipping, not sure though.

Any Online Store for Mumbai, India?

Thanks Man!

I needed that kind of information from reputable BLF member! :+1:

Heres another one for Australians
I purchased a couple Tesla 21700 from ebay which tested to be 4700-4800mah on my liitokala charger. Recently ebay has pulled all lithium cell sales if they dont come with a torch or something to use it with. I contacted the seller asking how I purchase more. Here is their website they sell other various lithium cells as well.

From ebay they were $15 free shipping but the website is only free shipping for orders over $50 so it isnt as cheap as ebay was.

Nice.

Added.

Is it wise to add it to the list when no one has confirmed the Samsung etc are indeed genuine?

I looked at the pictures posted, reviews and whatnot, and everything seems genuine.

Hi I’m in th Uk and I found a brand new 4000mah 14.4v Panasonic power tool battery on Ebay for around £16.00. This gave me 8 x 2000mah 18650 lithium cells for around £2.00 each, and I got it within a couple of days. Much better than waiting 2 months for stuff to come from AliExpress.

I have another data point for everyone buying from Canada.

I ordered one 18650 cell from this China-based vendor as a test:

https://aliexpress.com/item/1005004055236059.html

The price was 3.88 USD + 0.32 USD shipping, or around 5.70 CAD total.

The cell did arrive in Vancouver, BC from China in a small bubble-pack. The customs declaration said “USB cable.” It took about eighteen days.

The cell was advertised as “Real Capacity 3500 mAh” and “High capacity not false standard.”

The cell tests as 2446 mAh, or around 70% of what was advertised. I’m classifying it as being less than advertised, but yet better than I feared. I wasn’t even expecting it to arrive at all, actually.

I don’t think it’s too bad for the price. It’s no screaming deal either, but it did arrive at my address in Canada, which is a tall order these days.

Hot trash if this was tested at max charging voltage.

Yup, max charging voltage of 4.2 V.

Do you happen to know of anything better for under 6.00 CAD including shipping?

Well, how many cells are you willing to order?
