Imalent RT90 layman impressions.

When my dear SST90 died, I searched for another 90.
The irony is that FT had the emitter for 4 dollars plus a lot of shipping,
like they usually do. It was removed from my cart by someone quicker than I.

With that out of the way, I went for SBT-90.2 to replace my half dead SST90.
I checked different versions from different brands.
I have 11 Imalents. So that was the 1st one I first considered. After not looking much
I was attracted to the 4-18500. A battery that I used a lot when I started vaping.

Maybe there are others more powerful than 4800 lumens. I dunno.
But I’m almost sure that no small one has such a deep reflector.
Or 1500 meters reach, fitting in a front pocket.
The beauty is how wide the thrower is, compared to the Astrolux.
This is a flashlight, not a dot. Like the other throwers I have.
And is a pussycat with a simple UI, probably starting at 15 lumens. 5 positions.

As life has it, after I ordered it, My SST90 came to life. WOW. It’s a Trustfire X6.
And it has been with me for 12 years. Time really flies.
However, it’s not even breakfast for the RT90.

My impression?. It’s the most fun I have had for 100 bucks in a long time.
It may not be for everyone, but if you can spare a Franklin, go for it.

Cheers.

Yes the Luminus SBT90.2 is the most intense LED physically possible. I mean, it has to be, because when I compared it side by side with a CREE XHP35 HI, the latter suddenly went from appearing very intense to kind of weak looking.

Thank you for your impressions on the Imalent RT90!

Thank you for your reply.
I omitted some important info.
The 4-18500 come in a battery pack.
Charged by a proprietary magnet string, A la Olight.
The price I paid, it’s from FT.
Cheers.
