The Google Flashlight

I finally managed to get to a place were I can make some videos again. Really been wanting to make one about this light. One of my most favorite things about it is that is has so much metal, not just in head, but body mass as well. That coupled with the handle make it very sustainable on high mode.

I have one of those. The previous owner knew I was into flashlights and gave it to me, but in turn he requested I give him a light he’d actually be able to carry and use. Got him an Astrolux EC01, and I hear he got into writing custom firmware now.

I have absolutely no use for that flashlight but am stuck with it now because it was a present, so there’s that.

i ask if it can burn your hand
even an fw3a can do that
or set black pants on fire

The problem with a google light is it keeps track of everything you shine it on and sells the info to the highest bidder .

Good vid but i want to know how many lumens the google light has.

Ask and the Google will provide

Cool vid Matt :+1: It would be even cooler if Adam responded in some way :sunglasses:

Fun video!
I hope Adam’s nerdy side will give you the pleasure of a reach-out, either via social media or even directly by email.

Too bad the jumper control wasn’t made as a dip switch…

Fascinating video Matt! Well done, great to see you back in the game.

Love the light, having a few Elektrolumens lights myself but 5-8000 units made?
Yeah, I think not!
They would be easy to find on ebay or offer up if that were the case, and I would get one
