This light is so crazy tempting, but I can’t settle for the 6500K. If it was the 5000k, I would be on it like flies on shit. I have the MT09R in 5000K and this one in 6500k would really bother me by comparison. I love the styling and size though, especially the way they designed the head just barely slightly bigger and added that fat SS Bezel.

5000K is definitely much more ideal.

100% agree. I just don’t need a 6500k flooder, or really any more 6500k lights at all tbh.

Hi Freeme, thank you for all you do to get us deals. Just a quick question. Can you ask Haikelite if they are willing to put the 5000k or maybe something even warmer in this light? I’m pretty sure there are plenty of people that would love that and feel compelled to buy it. Maybe they are hard to come by right now, who knows. But I figured I’d at least ask if you could ask if that’s a possibility. Thank you.

I need one…

I am getting ready to purchase the HK07 what does three 18650 power cells (pointed, semi-tipped) mean? Semi pointed? will these work?

Full Molicel INR-18650-P26A Datasheet

My XTAR 21700 has a raised contact of approx 0.5mm.

I believe they are referring to this type of battery for semi raised tip. For true flat top cell, you might to get mentally prepared to apply solder blob yourself.

:+1: Thanks Freeme.

Hello,
I’m interested in two of them.

sENT.

I just recieved the HK07. It is a flodder, as I expected.
It is a strange U.I. Ramping is similar to Narsil, but not the same. It can also be switched to stepped mode.
It also noticed a slight delay in turning off, after pushing the button.

They state in the manual that thermal regulation is preset to 60 degree, then it drops. After it reaches 45, it will rise again.
It heats up rapidly, on turbo, with Sony VTC6.
I measured temperature after 3 minutes on turbo. Double click to get turbo again and the head is already 75 degrees, handle is 52 degrees, endcap is 48 Celsius. As you ca imagine, you cannot hold it without glove or the included lanyard.
I don’t have measuring device, but by comparing it to the Astrolux MF01s, in 5000k sst20’s, it is pretty similar. And that is a solid 12k lumen. That means that 2 of HK07, side-by-side will do tha stated 23.000

Just started testing mine with some fairly well used 30qs. So far I’m getting output about 10% higher then my MF01S. I’m still playing with it but at this point I much prefer the HK04.

Edit: No, sorry but that’s not accurate, lumen output is going to be higher then that as the HK07 is floodier then the MF01S so my lux readings are relatively meaningless other then determining output is higher then the MF01S which I estimate at about 13500LM. New batteries will also make a difference. Regulation seems to be as claimed or close. I don’t have a suitable light with similar beam and output to use for my ceiling bounce comparison method. Also, It’s the throw and Anduril UI of the HK04 that I prefer. One day I’ll have to get a lumen tube or sphere. 23000LM?, of course not, but I hope someone with more expertise will do an accurate test of this light. I’m curious.
