【convoy】H4 and B35AM options are updated

The code has a drawback - it does not work with Aliexpress coupons.

I am glad, that it is possible now with T3 to have an AA light with an option to turn off mode memory, however the current colors are toobbright and flashy. Simon, is there a possibility to have something like gunmetal grey, desert tan or clear anodisation?

There’s always the possibility to use the T2 with the 3 driver (unless it doesn’t for some reason :zipper_mouth_face:) ,

I’ve wanted a driver like this since 2012, thanks for making it!

I would liked to have a mode lower than 1% on this new bit pricely AA driver.
Just curious to know how much is bright at lower mode
As far I understand it was not possible to go below with this chip.
I hope someday will be a firefly mode, even on ramping AA headlamp.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Ive been using simon's 17mm sst20 5amp / 12 mode drivers in my 14500 lights for awhile now, they work great! this new driver would be awesome too do to duel-fuel ability, but 1.5amp output with 14500 is pretty low, no?.. I was usig sst20 2700k and 5amp with no issues in a xeno e03 14500 light.

About the SFT70, should we be expecting the same as sst40 —> sft40 : less ting shift and more power?

Any datasheet?

edit: well it doesn’t seem like it’s new 2020 taschenlampe forum (german)

edit2: Simon already posted some datasheet info here

Simon - will the 90CRI 5000k XHP70.2 be available at some time in the M21D ?

Саймон, можно добавить спектральный тест для sw30D180L2R9080?
Спасибо!..

Dear Simon,

any word on that new single 26800, sbt90.2, side switch, 80mm+ head size, thrower??

is the driver done yet?

Will a sft40 driver be available for that + for M21e anytime soon?

Thank you!

Can anyone help?

What mcpcb could the sft70 go onto? Either 6volt or 12volt 7070 like one for xhp70?

I wonder why Simon isn't selling the SFT70 with a mcpcb? It must not be able to go onto the 6volt xhp70 mcpcb he has in stock i am assuming?

in the MCPCB of the xhp50.2? the sft70 is 6V.

the spot is uneven ,High CRI is meaningless

Drivers are all in production

XML2/SST40 5050 MCPCB ,6V voltage

Just curious Simon but, what do you mean with “the spot is uneven”? A hole in the center of the beam appears?

I think I am going to finish a small build with a hole in the beam, since I don't care as much. ;-)

I have only XHP70.2 in my Convoy’s and i never noticed anything that is not visible with non high cri models…

The beam from an XHP70.2 in a reflector has a white hotspot, an extremely lime green corona and a blue spill. There’s so much tint shift across the beam that high CRI won’t really give you much benefit.

Yea, as much as i wanna always ask the manufacturer for the best bins they can get, i agree with Rayoui here, how does Hi CRi matter with xhp70.2 when there is so much tint shift going on? meaning, which color of the rainbow actually contains the Hi CRI with xhp70.2 in a reflector light?

I even have one in a E7-, small OP reflector, and there is a slight Rainbow of colors from the xhp70.2

Just to illustrate…
