What a hideous beam though, so fried-eggy.
When you’re shining down the alley, looking at the wood fence, you can see it go from whitish from the spill, to honkin’ yellow in the corona, then neutral in the hotspot, and then back the opposite direction. Even on the trees at the beginning, it ran the full spectrum. Unless the camera’s exaggerating the effect, but it’s very noticeable.
Same 2-button UI as the kick-ass EC4GT, though, with over’n’under 18650s. Also fully regulated from fresh-out-of-the-charger cells to last-gasp spent.
And you want moonlight as a shortcut, so you don’t blind yourself if you didn’t remember to set it to last-used mode.
Dunno, overall I like the idea of wireless/wired charging, but not a hunnid-whatever bux worth. Definitely no on the beam, though. Nice hybrid compromise beam, but the fried-egginess of it would drive me to slap a coupla layers of diffusion film on the glass, kinda defeating the purpose.
