What blade did you EDC today?

Havenā€™t carried either one yet , but I just got these during the Olight sale .

Ah, I hear you. The sought after pricey knife when you expected to be flush with funds. Thatā€™s pretty upsetting that so much wasnā€™t right out of the box! But kudos to you for having the confidence to make changes that resulted in success. Especially the titanium clip. Looks wonderfulā€”beautiful job, DBC!

My semi-grail was to get an uncommon Spyderco in used condition for $100 or less. Timing fell in my lap, when the Vrango showed up. Pretty much unused other than a slight blemish that deemed it a ā€œsecondsā€ by Spyderco, so it has a very tiny notch in the blade to signify it. $99 shipped. OK by meā€”this knife is a beaut. Such smooth action. Frame lock snaps into 100% position. Funky curved tanto-style blade. Itā€™s a little jewel to me. Whenever I get fixated on buying another knife, I take out the Vrango and 3 othersā€¦ then clear my cart. Knife collecting is the only one Iā€™ve been good about resisting, otherwise Iā€™d probably have several dozen!

Going back to an older knife model (CRKT Ryan) today.

I wish it was a flipper but the thumb stud is good.

Really like this Oknife Splint . Comfortable to hold , really easy smooth action. N690 blade steel has been holding a great edge . I think Kizer manufactures their knives .

Last few days my EDc knife is Benchmade Puukko in a Kydex sheath I made. Love the design and 3V is by far my favourite knife steel. Easy to sharpen and can take a beating.

I usually carry it on a kit bag. The one in the picture is my own design

You make some cool things, Mraz! :sunglasses:

Thank you. I make/modify all my gear, itā€™s just something I like to do.

I made a short video about the kit bag, not really my thing (making videos) but i promised the manufacturer to do so.

If it sounds interesting hereā€™s the link: - YouTube

Ignore the ā€œeaster european Englishā€, I donā€™t get to talk much.

Nice video. (the english is perfectly adequate).
Here in the city I would need a completely different kit btw.

That's all really nice Mraz!

I have a similar bag and have attached it to the straps on my day backpack via carabiners and existing D rings. The setup is perfect for keeping items at hand.

I also have an Helikon Numbat I use and when in urban enviroment I carry them like a satchel. It makes them not stand out, especially the Helikon one since it is gray.

Just picked up a Damned Designs Fenrir from Blade Show West last Friday.
And my trusty AAA Tool and a Wise Men Company Pill Bug.

Nice work Mraz, that sheath is pro all the way!
I find 3V very much to my liking as well. Interested in the new Magnacut but have yet ti find one that usurps my current fave.

The kit bag looks nice. Is it a chest bag?

update:
yes, itā€™s a chest bag (after watching the video)

A friend from Thailand sent me this machete. I believe they are called an ā€œAranyikā€, but not sure. Might be called a ā€œLaabā€, as a dual purpose to chop meat as well as jungle brush. Use it for camping and had the leather sheath made so it doesnā€™t slice up my backpack. Itā€™s very sharp. Blade is 12 inches, and handle 7 1/2 inches. Dollar bill for scale.

This was my EDC today. The usual. Benchmade Mini Grip, Sunwayman V10R, and Deep Blue DayNight Diver.

Maybe I got too many today ā€¦ nah !
