Thanks for your post. I ordered mine on Sept 9 and the order confirmation from Jack at FF indicated pre-orders would ship “Sept 15-22”. I sent 3 emails beginning on Oct 1st inquiring status of my order and finally received a reply on Oct 8 indicating that they wouldn’t have the “original optics” or accessory tail cap in stock until Oct 15. This email stated that if I would “accept a 25 degree beed optic” they could ship my order immediately. I replied that I wasn’t interested in the alternative optic and to please ship my specified order on Oct 15. As my order has DHL shipping (their website shows 4-7 days to US), hopefully it will arrive no later than the last week of October.
The subject line in the email I received regarding my delayed order reads “order xxxx Fireflylite E07 2021 confirmation before Shipping”. Haven’t had any luck accessing my account; my email is recognized but not my password and while I’ve submitted a request for a new password and FF website shows a new password is sent, I never receive it (have checked spam folder).
Thanks for the well wishes; unfortunately, whilst the dates we both posted here would indicate my order was received weeks earlier by FF than your order, the email communication I received from FF indicates that, not only has my order not yet even been shipped out, even though your order apparently has, my order is not even going to ship out before Oct 15 at the earliest since the “original optics” are not in stock. Just wondering now if you received any communication from FF after you ordered about their being out of stock of the optics for the E07?
No communication at all . Only the paypal bill . This is my first news of optics out of stock . Maybe the accessory tail cap is still missing, i didn’t order it .
Ok thanks. I did receive Paypal receipt after I ordered on Sept 9, but nothing after that until I started sending emails in Oct asking for status. Hope you get your light soon, AND of course also hoping that it has the correct, original optics
Before this latest one, they were using a canada post tracking # that only shows up the canadian part, so it would take many days before having data . This time with the RU…NL tracking, nothing now, will see . My previous order is stuck in miami airport since the 18 of last month, so i’m already a bit in trouble .
I purchased an E07 “version 1” months ago from a now what appears to be out of business BraynGear.com. I really like the light and wanted to purchase another but they were nowhere to be found; apparently “sold out” worldwide. Subsequent to learning of this, I emailed Fireflies to inquire about production of more E07s and they advised they were coming out with Version 2 in “the coming months”. After they moved the pre-order date several times, their website started taking pre-orders in early Sept, with shipping dates for pre-orders shown as Sept 15-Sept 22.
