[Moving again!]Aliexpress Shipping Stalled - Options?

I ordered an SF47 (4xSST40) from the Beamax Lighting store on 9/29/2021. Here’s a link to the tracking. I am planning to give it another couple of days before I try contacting someone (I know Chinese Golden Week and Columbus Day both happened).

My question is, do I contact USPS, CAINIAO, or Beamax Lighting store about the missing package? The reminder on the Aliexpress app mentions I can open a dispute there in 61 days if I don’t receive the package before then. Frankly, that is longer than I am willing to wait.

What would you guys do if the package doesn’t move by Friday?

Doesn’t look like stalled. Last update was just a week ago.
I had packages without any tracking update for 3 months and still received them (with PostNL).
Record was a package received after 10 months.

I see you are in Europe though so I assume most of that time the package was in customs. It appears to me that it already passed customs.

If you ordered on 9/29, then don't expect the package to show up any sooner than 10/20. 4PX is kinda slow and they use another third-party company (usually Pitney Bowes or DHL) to actually deliver the package to the post office once it arrives in the US.

Last update was less than a week ago in Los Angeles.

I’ve had packages get stuck in Los Angeles before coming up to the Bay Area. Occasionally, they would be stuck for 10 days.

To me, I think it’s just an ordinary transportation delay. You should still be on track to receive the package.

Relax, it’s only been two weeks. Normally takes a month

Waiting on parcels from Aliex/China is painful sometimes, and the tracking makes it more unbearable in my experience. I had an order from Convoy that tracked “refused by customs”, “returned to sender”, “departed country of origin”, like four times, then silence for almost two weeks when I get an alert from Ali the package is at my local P.O… THEN, it goes back to USPS Brooklyn Dist. Ctr., to NJ Dist. Ctr., back to local USPS, and finally in my mailbox….36 days from order to doorstep.

I don’t torture myself with tracking after that fiasco. Patience is not just a virtue, it’s a prerequisite when ordering from across the globe. Hang in there, it’ll show up eventually.

This is only my second purchase from Aliexpress and the first time the item was out-of-stock. My only frame of reference is how long it takes Hank lights to arrive and for me that’s usually 14-20 days. I did say in my original post that I was going to wait a couple more days too.

You need to wait at least a couple more weeks. This is not Hank shipping, it’s Aliexpress. Sounds like reddit “hank lights”

That’s actually a good record, and not abnormal. Shows clear progress, and that the package has made it into the country.

Currently, it’s in the hands of Newgistics/Pitney Bowes, who will transfer it to the USPS for final delivery. Newgistics does receive its share of complaints, but once the handoff to the USPS occurs, then it’s very close, as that usually occurs at the local regional distribution level.

Once in country, I’ve found that tracking via USPS will be more up to date.

Using multiple services gives the best overall picture. Cainiao, Parcelsapp, 17Track, Postal Ninja, Aftership, etc. Sometimes one service will pick up progress that the others don’t, or at least before they do. When they’re all in agreement, confidence level rises.

Nice, thanks for the tips! How do you know about Newgistics/Pitney Bowes? Do they show up on other trackers?

As an aside, the tracking update again yesterday evening so I’m happy as a clam.

I see people call Noctigon/Emisar “Hank Lights” here fairly regularly.

I used to use reddit but I nuked my account (deletion script) and stopped going there a year or two ago. That site is a cesspool of astroturfing, selective censorship and political spam. I decided that by staying there I was adding value to a platform I wanted to fail.
