I received this USB hub today.
It seems to work fine.
The main complaint in Amazon reviews is that it gets quite hot, but I won't be charging a bunch of stuff like some people do, so maybe the heat won't be a problem for me. 
UPDATE:
I've had six external hard drives plugged into this USB hub for twelve hours, and the hub is nowhere near hot.
So I think the hub will not get quite hot unless you do something like try to charge ten tablets at the same time. 
I got pairs of kids gloves as well.

Some observations: Arrived with 3 of the 4 batteries < 3.0v and off via protection, was able to activate them on my charger and measured 2.7v so ok. Don’t try to charge these on a conventional charger as they never stop as are regulated at 3v and don’t reach 4.2v to stop the charge cycle. Must use the microusb port to charge. Observed that if overdischarged and protection enabled the usb charge port does not reenable the battery, had to enable on a charger before would take a charge via usb. Charge rate on the port is 300ma.

I have a couple of these, not really a big fan. They sit pretty far off your belt but the problem is really how hard it is to draw the light. Lets just the retention is…excellent.

From what I see in the Amazon pic — the led has 3 bond wires XM-L ( very old) these lights most likely have the crappy pill and tail switch — Been there Done that
