21700 EDC Flashlights Compared (ACEBEAM v NITECORE v THRUNITE v SOFIRN v OLIGHT v CYANSKY)

Hey BLFers,

Just wanted to share a comparison of a few 21700 EDC flashlights! Put these lights head to head in max output and throw, medium modes, moonlight mode, Price and a few other specs!

These are the lights compared in the video!

Olight M2R Pro Warrior
CYANSKY P25
ACEBEAM E70
NITECORE P20iX
Sofirn SP35
THRUNITE T2
THRUNITE TT20

Let me know which is your favorite!

Heh, my favorite (and current) 21700 EDC is a Sofirn IF25A. Yeah, the SP35 has a better, more efficient driver, but the beam, color and CRI of the 4000K IF25A is just magical. And, honestly, 80-90% of my usage is below 50% of max anyway, so the battery life is still astounding, even with the “worse” driver.

I only have the Sofirn SP35, which I believe is the cheapest among these 21700 flashlights. For me it is good enough. I don’t want any of the other more expensive ones. :money_mouth_face:

The price comparison in the video confirmed the same suspicion I had. The Sofirn is the only one I would buy, let alone carry.

I had never heard of CYANSKY, but I kept trying to figure out why he was talking about “science guy.”

Cyan sky and science guy, there is nothing wrong, right?

Based on reviews it looks like the Thrunite T2 is the best option for sustained brightness.

The IF25A looks like a really nice light, but is there really no pocket clip for it? It is sized about right for a jeans pocket.

Well yes but you’ll have to order it separately, don’t know why they not just include the clip but they just don’t:

Well… I can see why they don’t, that is a terrible fit for head down.

any defusers out there fitting this size?
besides the Lumintop fw21/edc18 one.
I will buy the SP35
