I’d like to get a thrower like the Sofirn IF22A, but with a LED indicator under the button so I can find it in the dark. The IF22A’s button is hard to find, especially with gloves on.
21700 battery is good. 18650 would also be alright. A big plus is if the light has battery bank function like the IF22A.
Hank’s upcoming Noctigon DM11 will be almost identical to IF22A in overall dimensions, will use the same optic, same 21700 battery, and will be available with the same SFT40 emitter. There’s no built in charging, but it will include RGB Aux LED’s and a nice big backlit button that will be way easier to find than IF22A’s little button.
Even so, got one, button-light doesn’t stay on, only a few sec after activation (battery status).
The MH20GT (if you can find one; throwier version of the regular ’20) has a beacon mode for the button. quick half-press from off lets it bleep every second or two.
But the IF22A has a clip, if I put that in the right place (for me 90degr. to the left) the button will be right under my thumb in the dark even with gloves on.
