KC1 keychain light is available now

Thanks Hank. How do I order tint ramping kr4 again. None for D4v2 right?

There is purhcase link on the site, you can order the regular KR4 on the site, and let us know the order number,
it will be fine.

Any chance of it happening in a D4v2 or too small?

Hank, does 2x SST20-DR and 2x 219B-V1 3500K work together both in KR4 and D4SV2? If so, what driver will you be using? 5A noFET or 9A noFET? Are LEDs aligned in diagonally crossed pattern or two colors side by side?

Yes, this combination works for both KR4 and D4S V2.
There are dozons of different combinations.

We choose the suitable current for each combination.
For example, if you choose 219B on both channels, we will use 5A for each channels.
If you choose 219B on one channel, and W1 LED on the other channel, we will use 5A for 219B, and 9A for W1 LED channel.
If you have your preference, just drop us an email, we will customs make it for you.

LEDs are at crossed pattern.

Thank you Hank. That is very helpful information. I am just waiting for DM11 to become available before I make my next order for at least two more flashlights. :)

By the time waiting for DM11, my bad habit made me click the buy button for Kr4 tint shift verssion. Thanks Hank, waiting for it …

Hank, I’m wondering about ordering a D4SV2 with the new constant current driver but with 4 identical emitters (no tint ramping). In this configuration, will the maximum output be lower than the standard D4SV2 with the same emitters?

Good point. Actual tint ramping probably isn’t very useful at all - what people are after is CCT ramping.

What I mean by this is changing the tint or duv (how far above or below the BBL) but keeping the CCT constant.

For example if you wanted to, you could ramp between some rosy 4000K sw40 219B LEDs and some green SST20 LEDs that are also 4000K but why would you?

Hank can you use a 7.5A noFET driver to power the 219BT-V1 diodes in the D4S V2 flashlight?
The question is about the D4S V2 in the two channel “channel ramping” version (2× 219B 2700K 7.5A and 2x XP-L HI 4000K 9A).

5A for two 219B diodes is a very delicate current. I would prefer 7.5A.
7.5A / 2 = 3.75A per diode
One 219BT-V1 diode can operate stably up to 4A.

Hi, your request is fine, please send us an email, contact@intl-outdoor.com

Hank is possible to let us know the current you use for each emitter?

1) SST20
2) XP-L HI
3) 219b
4) W1
5) W2
6) LH351D

Sure, apart from the 219B LED which is 5A per channel.
Other LEDs are all 9A per channel.

Hank thanks for your reply.

Another question is about the flashlight in a different configuration:
More and more people want to buy an Emisar D4Sv2 flashlight with four Osram W1 LEDs with a single channel driver with full stabilization and with an unlocked FET for Turbo as it is in the KR4 flashlight (9A Constant Current + Direct Drive). Hank are you able to prepare such a driver for D4S V2?

I see that user “CollectEverything” is also asking for the same configuration.

The D4SV2 with 4 Osram W1 LEDs is offered with an outdated driver (FET+ 3). I think many people would gladly buy a D4Sv2 flashlight with 4 Osram W1, W2 or XPL HI diodes if it had a driver like the KR4 has (9A CC + DD), because such a driver would give very good high brightness stabilization.

Picture of my flashlights for attention
!!

Hi, please send us an email for the request.

Omg, this is awesome, does this do tint ramping or channel swap? Or both?

Very nice setup for max output

That one does just channel swap.

This one is Nichia SW27/SW45k, and ramps between the two.
This Video shows both in action. I will be doing a more detailed video on my channel soon.

Also, lighted switches! Thanks Hank for making and sending these awesome lights

Hank, will it be possible to put this new driver from KR4 in DT8? I saw noone asked about that.
Also SBT90.2 in DM11 possible?

Eta on when black will be back in stock for d18?
