Not that I know but I believe you also want the replacement batteries to be the exact same and to use them together without mixing other batteries into the the light. I’m sure someone else could elaborate.
Button top 30Q or VTC6A 18650s. Note that there are now many single 21700 lights that can perform as well as soda can lights (in terms of sustained lumens) and don’t have the hassle of multiple batteries.
Thanks, I really wanted a soda can light, I really like that form factor. Its not only about the lumen output for me(though of course that is very important), but also about the handling and the feel. I want my flashlight to be able to stand on its tail without problems.
I was only making a generalized statement about soda can lights based on their ability to hold more than one cell. (1 x 21700 5000mah vs 4 x 18650 10,000mah-14,000mah) Runtimes are going to depend on factors like driver type and output levels butt the potential is definitely there.
