This is similar to be an Aussie lol, we wear shorts and t shirts in the winter lol. This guy is great, it doesn’t snow in Sydney so i drove a few hours to see some very light snow and it only snows there every few years so it was exciting lol.

That would be “Mud Eel” (Heterenchelyidae). Was popular in the St-Lawrence Bassin and seasonally caught when the tides would go down (circa 1920 to ’40s, IIRC). Fish family.

I didn't watch the video (sorry), but I wear a short sleeved polo shirt year round, and I wear shorts 10-11 months of the year.

(When it gets too cold, I do wear pants.)

That’s so funny.

Am I the only one who was expecting them to fly up into the air and burst into flames, like it’s Carousel?

I mean, lookit their palms. Their crystals went black.

That IS really remarkable. Thanks for sharing, Jeff!

Ha! That was Max Grodenchik in the first one.

Strangely Satisfying

Reminds me of my ice fishing days.

And to think all we use to do is Blast them with Guns :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:

Not for me personally.

1/4 of a ton, and what do you get?
a coal-lift video, and the best one yet.

Good post, cheers.

Its not a coal-lift, it transports shale for making bricks. It’s an amazing system, powered only by the gravity of of the descending buckets, no electricity or fuel burned to make it work, just the weight of the descending buckets lifting the empty buckets back up.

It was due to stop working and be dismantled in 2018, but was granted until 2036 without a single objection.
