Greetings from a German Custom Lights Builder

Hi everybody, iĀ“m registered here for a while now, but for some reasons i was not really active in that great forum. I read a lot in the background, but now its time, to get started and introduce myself.

My name is Michael, iĀ“m 27 years old and i live in Germany, near Fulda. ThatĀ“s exactly in the middle of the country, around 100km eastside of Frankfurt. i started building flashlights around 11 years ago, did a lot of modding, some fancy stuff, but in the last years i concentrated on building unique pieces or small series of my own flashlights. Maybe you know the largest thrower i ever built, it was a cooperation with "TheDriver": https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/46485?page=5

But there are a many other things i did and i am happy, to be here and show them one after another, if this is interesting for you. a quick example of my latest creation:

i read the modding threads here for a while and its really interessesting, how the developement of this was in the past and how it will go on in the next years. so if you want, than switch to the modding-part of that forum, i will start soon with my first own thread.

thanks a lot for being a part in that nice forum best regards Michael

Make yourself at home, RC-Lights!

Welcome!

Welcome Michael, nice to see you here.

Does RC stand for anything?

(I'm guessing the "C" might stand for Custom/s.)

thank you all

yes, that RC has a meaning, before my point of interesst moved to flashlights, i spend a lot of time to RC Modell Boats. I build a lot mechanical parts for boats, especally for powertrain and optic parts. So in that case, the RC means ā€œRadio Controlledā€. later, when i built flashlight, i kept the RC.

cheers
Michael

Welcome Michael, Iā€™m looking forward to seeing lights you made and will make.
