Which movie did you watch lastֻ

I saw 47 Meters Down (2017).

This movie is good.

The acting is great for a horror film.

The music is pretty good.

Parts of the film are quite intense, and the movie is entertaining.

” Nobody”

The Bus Fight scene in the beginning was worth watching it —- Turned into the typical Shot M Up fiction —-

Ready or Not.
Mrs. Jeff and I watched it last night.
What a hoot. Good acting. Silly plot - but who cares?
Get out the popcorn and sit back.
All the best,
Jeff

Life In Color (2015)

Excellent romantic comedy about two people who meet when one of them inadvertently gets the other fired from their job. The writing and acting stand out in this darkly-comical drama in which two people help each other overcome the past traumas and frustrations in their lives and inspire each other to reach for a better life and the happiness that has eluded them.

I saw 47 Meters Down: Uncaged (2019).

This movie is good.

It's almost as good as the first movie.

The acting is average.

The music is pretty good.

This film is intense and entertaining, though the first movie is more intense and entertaining.

The sharks in this movie are more impressive looking than in part one.

Watched Dune (2021) and was impressed with the visuals. Maybe the fact that it is a 2 part film, they didn’t want to spoil all the sand worm glory in this go-around. Kinda reminds me of the Krayt Dragon from Mandalorian.
I did enjoy it overall except what I thought were minor quirks (which I won’t point out without spoiling the film for others).

Finch (2021).

The new Tom Hanks post-apocalyptic sci-fi movie.

It was … not very good. It was extremely slow-paced, the main character was unlikeable, and there were a couple major plot holes. I was surprised. An actual bad Tom Hanks movie. I didn’t think there was such a thing.

Ratcatcher 1999

8/10 powerful, strong movie.

8/10 another gem with lovely Tilda Swinton We Need to Talk About Kevin

Watched The Harder They Fall last night.

Excellent movie.

I saw Dead and Buried (1981).

This movie is "from the creators of Alien."

You could have fooled me.

Alien (1979), is, or course, a masterpiece.

This movie is terrible.

The acting is not very good.

The dialogue is pretty bad.

There are petty arguments between couples in this movie.

No one wants to hear that garbage.

The music is actually decent.

The film isn't overly boring, but it isn't very entertaining.

This movie is a waste of space.

update on Dune….

posted my opinion before, and these
are from friends/family who saw it.

essentially, there were 5 types:

1. those who read the book(s). they are fans and might see it again.
2. teenagers who did not read the book and did not like this boooring movie.
3. children who did not understand much, but liked going to see any movie.
4. women in general did not like it. especially my two sisters and their daughters.
4. fathers who were dragged to the movie under duress. they used profanity afterwards.

Hahaa, Thanks for that description turkeydance! I take it you were in the #1 group?

well, no.

i was in the “muggle” group who had not read any of the books.

and, as a result, i was completely out-of-my-element for being
able to adequately understand exactly why anyone did anything.

Yeh, when I watched the original movie, I wondered why they all had fruit-punch mouth.

Benicio Del Toro at his finest. 7.5/10
I would watch again.
Things We Lost in the Fire

Demetrius and the Gladiators .

Did you see The Dead Don’t Die? I didn’t care for the movie as a whole but Tilda Swinton’s part in it was pretty great.

When I was young I bought it on DVD to watch because gladiators. Boy was I disappointed. The way I remember it those fight scenes were some real stinkers. They had better film duels in the 1930s! :person_facepalming:

Sure I did. I’m big Jim Jarmusch fan.
I really admired Tilda in Orlando
