Lumencraft is Mine

pretty sweet!

Hey Matt! New light looking good!

Do you have a website for us to check out?

Thanks!

The new site is up. At the moment the new flashlight is not listed there because I don’t want to list it until we are close to delivery. https://lumencraft.com/
There is still ongoing construction of the Lumencraft site, but it is functional if you want to order from it.

Nice website, congrats!

Is this light going to have any led options? Or at least be mod friendly if we want to swap it? Existing adventuresport stuff seems to be cool white only.

thabks! Nice site! And that mosfet driver looks awesome, think I'll order a couple up!

It looks like exactly the same FET driver Mtn sells. This with guppydrv rev 1 is the same thing. Mtn also has the FET+1 version that runs the newer Guppy3drv.

Any update with this?

Tragically No. Basically the port of Los Angeles took my lights hostage on 8/8/21 and hasn’t bothered to do a lick of work since then.

Wait…they are just sitting there in LA? Sigh I was ready to buy many moons ago…

Here’s an interesting article about the situation at the ports.

That’s a quite shocking read actually :open_mouth:

Next time ship them via DHL. Might cost you 25cts each, but you’ll get them in a couple days instead of… never

Soooo….are these lights still at the port, four, almost five months since my last inquiry?

Could be at the side of a train-track somewhere in LA, in a pile of trounced boxes.

hows business Matt ?

a real thing for those that don’t know.

Then 13 train cars of huge loads of lumber in Colton Ca last week

Super excited about these. Ready to try one out!

What happens in situations like these? Are the goods insured by the carrier or were they to be arranged by the client (FOB)? Is the lost shipment tallied and notification sent to the broker?

Imagine waiting for a good-sized order that never shows up and it is at your loss. Or that the car was pilfered and there is no trace of items.

Sometimes my order from China leaves the air terminal but the tracking stops. Always wondered if an expected flight termination (a crash) would have the cargo contents’ sender notified.

Hoping that Matt gets his lights and pops up with all smiles.
