Frost Flowers
Not as destructive as other forms of intense weather, but this is none-the-less an incredible act that almost seems too amazing to be true.
In the Arctic there were reports of weird ice formations floating by boats, but no one took them seriously. When people started photographing them, everything changed. Frost flowers are the result of a combination of winds, tides, and new ice appearing over open water. The excess water vapor freezes suddenly and we are left with beautiful and mystifying crystals.

Such clouds are very rare; they mainly appear in tropical latitudes. They are bound with the formation of a tropical cyclone.

Man-made disaster in China

On Thursday night, two powerful explosions thundered in a warehouse with dangerous substances in the Chinese port city of Tianjin with a difference of 30 seconds. The explosions were of such strength that they were fixed by a seismological service. At least 50 people died, more than 700 people were injured.
The power of the two explosions amounted to 3 and 21 ton in TNT.
