Same thing have happened to me, one of my SC21’s dies. A quick chat and bam, a new flashlight on the way. Really pleased with how they handle their reclaims.

You mentioned one, but most so-called “A-brands” have appalling warranty habits.
What’s even worse, when you apply for warranty, the standard excuse is that you purchased that particular item from a seller that was not approved by them. Now comes the good bit: upon asking what sellers they approve, things suddenly get very blurry, or very silent. For most brands warranties are a thing of beauty, as long as it is confined to the paper it is printed on.

What did strike me was that Sofirn jumped in. As a rule, the seller has to deliver the warranty for the light. Because you payed him, you did not pay Sofirn. And even if the seller wants to limit the warranty time to the same duration as the manufacturer does, EU law stipulates that certain appliances have a certain expected lifespan, and that under normal conditions (of usage) the seller can be held accountable for that extended lifespan.

I have a few Sofirn lights and never had an issue. They might be the best budget brand going and knowing they have excellent customer service just adds even more to the value.

I have a few Sofirns myself, have given a few as gifts, and have a few more on the way. Haven’t had a dud yet.

I’m honestly surprised to hear they have Warranty service at all. Good on them though. :+1:

I have a SP10 that came with a bad lens and Sofirn sent me a new head when I mentioned it to them. I have confidence in them making good on defective products whereas with other flashlight companies I assume the complete opposite.

Got a bunch of Sofirn flashlights and lanterns. Have been happy with all of them. I use the SP40 and SP32 daily. No problem so far but I am happy to hear that they stand behind their product.
