I use 17Track and the Wurkkos tracking number shows this-
Nov 17- Yanwan Pickup scan
Nov 18 Processing information input
Nov 19- Yanwen facility- Outbound
Nov 19- Last Mile => USPS, number 420989723487234852345089 (That isn’t the actual number I got )
I used to use 17track, but over the past few orders, it has been missing shipments others have no problems tracking, and is less reliable than in the past.
It found my latest order, but with scant detail compared to the other two or three I use to get a more complete picture on the progress of each shipment.
I wouldn’t rely on it, much less as the sole arbiter.
I usually use ParcelsApp and Postal Ninja - both are great although ninja sometimes does a better job of things. It really depends on the carrier and the shipper/merchant sometimes. These also usually come up with alternate tracking numbers, which is often the trick. For instance, some merchants seem to provide you with a USPS tracking number upon purchase, but that isn’t active for quite awhile and may not even show anything until the package actually lands stateside (and now, with Pitney Bowes, Newgistics, and others working in conjunction with the post office, it’s just a mess with tracking and delivery delays). In the meantime, your parcel is moving along nicely with a tracking number from its “real” carrier (and sometimes you even have two of those…).
With 17 Track, sometimes it does better than the other two but not often. One thing you can do if it comes up blank on 17 Track is to manually select the carrier (or try a few of them) and sometimes that will bring a tracking number to life. Sometimes you can also visit the China Post direct website and punch it in there for some kind of information.
I’m seeing the same thing. Ordered on the 10th and it shipped on the 15th. Originally I got a china post tracking then a few days later I noticed it changed to a yanwen tracking. I’ve ordered from them in October and my yanwen tracking started to update only a few days later. I’m curious if I even got a valid tracking number since my tracking number is apparently non-existent. I can’t even find a customer service email to ask them.
Did you use the message section under ‘my accounts’? If so, I don’t think they monitor that. I’ve never got a response from them. The only response I get is a new coupon to use. Which isn’t bad, but not exactly what I’m using it for lol.
