【convoy】H4 and B35AM options are updated

In all honesty, long ago there wasn't any sort of thermal regulation on these “regular” flashlights, and I don't recall hearing many complaints in this regard, if at all. People would just learn to use their flashlights properly, period. It doesn't takes much effort to sense how the flashlight body temperature raises while holding it in your hands, with it set in the highest modes. This way you ;-) know. Bear also in mind that while holding the flashlight in your hands, you also cool it. For this reason, leaving the flashlight turned on over a surface while set in a mode who would cause it to reach a noticeably high temperature while in your hands, is surely going to cause it to reach an even higher temperature if left alone that way for enough time.

Now, the kind of people who got used to learn to use their unprotected and modified “pocket rockets” responsibly usually ends up removing the NTC resistors on the drivers, as for us it can be more of a hassle than an advantage. I perfectly know what is to have a small flashlight pumping out 30+W of power continuously in my hands without any other “overheating protection” besides my fingers pressing the on/off switch, and I know how to take care of it. O:)

Yes I removed the NTC from my Convoy lienar driver. I used it in one KD host and want to have maximum turbo time because I will use that mode only on my bike helmet.

My M21B GT-FC40 runs fine at 35% for quite some time, plenty of light at that too.

Not having thermal regulation on a light can be acceptable. Advertising thermal regulation when it does not work is a problem.

@Barkuti the problem is, I want to buy them for my bike, for off road riding, so I won't feel the heat.
And it's advertise to have thermal control, so I can't harm the led or battery, and I will probably use the 100% mode all the time, and trust that thermal regulation, if it works.
I want all the light I can get, without harming the battery or LED.

I tested again with second activated turbo and control works bu very slow down output. My M21B reached 70°C I turn off flashlight at that point. So be ware not use at all turbo or just use 35% or 50% output which is safe. Also on bike you have active coolling. I also used my M21B on my bike two weeks ago. On turbo it is stay about 2-3 min and step down. So for riding it is not best mode at all. Stay with 35% at which any boost Convoy drivers have stable output and you will be ok with temperature.

Hi Simon, any details over M21e with culpm/sft40, try checking your official store for details about output current but those but cannot find any. Thank you.

Can’t wait for this to happen. Hopefully soon.

By the way Simon, it has been more than 3 months on the Quad TIR,(S21C/S12 Base). How’s the progress?

Recently install an SFT-70 6500K into S11 with convoy xhp70 6v4,8a 22mm single cell driver. The emitter does throw,it shows dot in the hot spot, but i think it has something to do with focusing or gasket set up.

Hey guys, looking to buy a M3-C with battery, any discount code for this black friday?

8A current

The host is being oxidized.

Simon - when are you going to release your version of the Pioneman K80? I saw a photo awhile back on your Facebook page

Can you give us a sneak peek? Can’t wait for this flashlight!
What colours, drivers etc. are gonna be available?

Excellent news!

Hello please could @Simon Mao / someone help answering following questions regarding H2?
Convoy H2 LH351D

1) Can it be switched to 4 modes stepped permamently? If I do this, the next time i turn on, it is going to be in stepped mode? How do you change between steps? It states in product description:

2) Does the moonlight mode (hold button from off) works when the flashlight has been set to stepped mode?

3) Does it have charging indicator built in?
4) Can it take protected button-top 18650?
5) What is maximum power draw at 100%/turbo brightness?
6) Approximate runtimes?

1: Yes, it will stay in the stepped ramp unless you change it back to smooth. To change modes you just hold down the button from off, just like virtually every other e-switch light.

2: Yes, moonlight still works when using the stepped ramp

Pardon if already asked;

Can I get the L2 with the GT FC40 emitter? I really like the L2 length, but want the 26650 as opposed to the 21700 for longer runtime.

Thanks in advance
