I don’t think anyone can say how durable they are overall, only how durable theirs have been. I’ve got two, and I’ve carried one or the other daily since they came out and they both still work perfectly. They’ve both been dropped a few times, but never really abused.
Some brands we see a lot on here seem to have numerous problems, but I haven’t noticed that trend with any of the Emisar/ Noctigon lights.

I have a D4V2 vn W2 4,020 lumens, 429 meters with throw optics, that is well worn from much carry and use for the past almost two years. It is not too fragile.
The tape is so I can mouth hold without getting aluminum on my teeth.

I’ve had mine for almost exactly 2 years - held up well. Absolutely no issues with functioning, etc, and I don’t baby the light. I’ve seen photos of Emisar lights in really rough condition (like someone took an angle-grinder to them) and the owners reported the lights still working perfectly.
Mine has absorbed a few drops to concrete and occasional salt water immersion. It’s not a favorite light, I prefer Jetbeam rotaries. I’ve been carrying pocket lights since the early 80’s. Everything fails eventually, carry a back up.
The older I become, the less concerned I am about equipment surviving events that would now easily incapacitate or kill me.
