Can anyone figure out this circuitry?

I purchased a small 12” under cabinet light from Amazon thinking it was switch activated. Turns out it’s touch activated. It’s housed in aluminum and turns on when you touch it. I pulled it out and touching the back of the board turns it on. I just want to be able to plug it in and it be on. I really am not sure how the touch circuit works. I would think bypassing most of the crap in there would do the trick. I know the capacitors wouldn’t be needed. Just want to get another eye on it before I pull out the paperclip.

Ok, I may have it figured out. I was able to make out the very faint traces and think I know what to bypass now.

couldn;t you just short out whatever contacts your fingers were supposed to make?

Well, I wish it were that easy. I think when you touch the back of the board…any part of it, not just 2 contacts…you add to the capacitors which it detects and completes the circuit. I basically just bypassed the capacitors and switch. We’ll see how long it lasts now after I bypassed the resistors as well.
