I like music I add inside my favorite album

So micro SD with some good song inside

2021 Porsche 911 is always a good choice for a wish list

For cats, how about a motorized flapping fish at Amazon!

I got my cats a nice squooshy bed each, for upcoming chilly weather, and I can’t bribe them to even sit in it. Once I saw one in it, but never again. My other one, I pick him up to try to put him in it, and his arms’n’legs go outstretched and he’s yowling “Nooooooo!!!” the whole time.

Also got a “crinkle-tunnel”, thinking they’d play in that. Pffft, yeah. I leave the brown “butcher-paper” that Chewy uses as box-filler, and they’ll both dive into that, but pay good money for something real for them to play in, and nope.

That said, a hand-warmer, or two (one for each hand). Especially the ones that double as power-banks, like, why not?

Catnip!! That’ll get em to where you want in a hurry. I dunno but they just go crazy all of a sudden when they sniff catnip. It’s like fentanyl for cats or something.

Alonefire S11 keychain light, each costs about US$10 during this BF sale is to be considered. If you want more, you can go to Alibaba.com to order in bulk (50 or 100 pieces, each costing around US$5).

Also quite nice is the Sofirn C01S mini-flashlight, which comes in different four or five colours, each one is about US$8.15 (I bought two, one Tan and one Blue on Lazada Singapore last night for S$11 each).

A monetary donation (in the recipient’s name) to a favorite non-profit, like your local humane society, a food bank, etc.

Happy holidays, flashaholics!

The Human Fund!

I’m disgusted with the stuff.

Petco had their Leaps’n’Bounds brand, decent size jar, that even the dregs from like 3yrs ago still has a nice pungent smell. No more. They don’t sell it at all, not in-store and not online. Now all they carry is grossly overpriced teeny envelopes of the stuff with cutesy names like “Meow-juana”.

So I tried Amazon. Huge bag of supposedly organical catnip. Pungent smell… for like 3 days. Didn’t even smell like catnip, but something else, nfi what. Looked like sawdust. Probably was sawdust, sprayed with catnip-juice. Returned it (and for me to return something, it really has to suck).

So, still on my quest…

I wish someone in my family would buy me an Emisar or Lumintop t-shirt! Ferget the neckties, people!!

jlhawaii808 is selling them. I’m just a satisfied customer of his, and not affiliated with him.

A fruitcake is always appropriate. Pretty much inedible but something of a gesture about your love for the recipient. Use with caution.

I previously gave out the Harnds Lark as a mass gift. It’s an appropriately sized key chain knife. As a slip joint, it stays closed in pocket and is totally uncomplicated for people to figure out. The clip for the key ring can be used as a bottle opener. It also comes in different colors. Being able to find out everyone’s favorite color in advance made it a hit.

Depending on the crowd, you might also try the Sanrenmu 6027. Unlike most “knives with a bottle opener”, this one seems more like a dedicated bottle opener that’s also a knife. It’s a cool idea, comes in different colors, and can be had in two different blade shapes.

The only issue for these is that’s getting late to be ordering from places like AliExpress. You’d have to find a source with quicker shipping.

I saw a sign at Amish house near Oxford PA a while back that said home made cat nip, when I get down there again I’ll stop in and see if it’s the real skunky stuff and get you some.

My cats will love some bud too and you are right the store bought stuff loses it’s punch after a couple days.
Later,

Keith

love my zebra 701! Gave everyone in my office one last year as a gift (8 people), just because I was new to them at the time and they're awesome for the price! Bought some refills cheap too. Give em to the folks when they need em. Great gift! ALL metal pen, under $10

Kewl, tnx!

The Petco stuff still has a nice stank to it, and this is after 2yrs or so. I (retrospectively wisely?) bought 2-3 jars because I don’t go out that way very often. Smells nice, like mint + black tea.

Dunno if I mentioned it, but when I’d give some to the outside cats (including my now-inside cat), there must’ve been some seeds that just blew around and started sprouting in cracks in the sidewalk and even the “garden” next to the steps. After confirming, yep, it’s catnip, I plucked a few sprigs and started growing them in a flowerpot.

Hard to maintain, ’cause they form new sprouts literally on top of each other, that you need to uproot them, pull them apart, and plant them spaced farther away from each other.

Thirsty little buggers, too, ’cause that small pot needed to be watered every day at least. Missed 2 days, and they were all shrivelled up, but most revived when rewatered.

Once the kitties saw what they were and started chewing on the leaves and pulling ’em out, that plus the occasional memory-lapse to water ’em killed ’em off for good. Arrrgh.

What I should do is take the last dregs that’re left and try replanting them in one of those “flowerboxes” (like 3’–4’ long narrow planters).

Micro shears

They are cheap as chips and everybody loves them after the first time they use them .

Eneloops

Everybody loves them after the fifty third time they use them .

Soap,socks,switchblades & cookies

Some great ideas here. Thanks all.

I especially like the idea of every day items that are better quality or work better than what people would normally get. Pens are a good example. I guess that includes flashlights too!

I found a book that looks like it’ll make a great gift for someone. It’s a second edition so hopefully fairly up to date…

I gave these away last year since it comes in handy every now and then. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LBZPZDR/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_8AJ5H0PAZVE0CDSEQ32A?\_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I can’t speak for durability though but no one complained yet so I assume it still works. I sparingly use mine since travel is limited the past year.

If you want one with wireless charging “KableCard ”: Amazon.com one as well though much more expensive.

Here are three from my < £20 suggestion list.

I have this Engineer SS-02. It would be at the top of my list if I didn’t:

Knipex or Vomm tweezers. Amazon have some Knipex. You will have to point to Farnell or google around for Vomm.

Try searching on Alibaba.com for (Seeknite) S11 key-chain light. Buying in bulk (10 or more) will cost only about US$5 apiece. On Banggood, each is being priced at US$20.99!
