Is there a database/table with different LEDs basic info?

Sometimes I am searching for some basic info on a LED such as CRI or size and have to find the datasheet of the LED.
Did someone create a database with all this info?

Had the same question. Don’t think it exists.

Something like that would be great especially if it was kept up to date with the latest LEDs.

Yes, I guess some one just have to muster up and do it. Like a public croudsourced database maybe?

Hmmm. Any web devs here?

If it really does not exist I will create one.
I think a google sheet is good enough platform for the basic info and allow multiple editors.
I just want to make sure nobody done it before

A spreadsheet with columns such as Price, Release Date, Voltages, Lumens, Maximum Current, Color Temperature, CRI, etc… would be useful

However, the biggest complication is that each Led has many bins and the bins can be very different from each other. Outputs can differ by 50% for example.

There you have it. I suspect this to grow like a monster… Lumen per Watt is the same, will differ depending on power draw, so should every emitter come with a lumen per watt curve as well? Might be a huge job, but extremely good to have if aiming for a specific power ceiling for a host for example!

I guess we can use a range or an average value as a start and improve it in the future

Sounds like a great plan! Believe many have wanted something similar!

Not exactly what you are looking for but start here https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/23020 . Don’t know what happened to CRX.

It would be a good thing to have a searchable database along with the referenced photos of the LED. CRX, don’t know… but miss his creative work. Was just thinking about his lights the other day. He disappeared and I was never able to get my hands on one of his lights. :frowning:
