How much do *you* pay at the hairdresser's?

9€

Yep, for me it is 17 plus tip. So I usually just give them a 20. :'(

Been cutting mine at home for the past 5+ years. It’s a #1 all over. Nothing more and nothing less.

I’m thrilled about all the money and time I’ve saved. 8)

I pay 13€ + tip = 15€.

Typically, I get my mother-in-law to cut my hair… :zipper_mouth_face:
She does a really good job. When I can’t make it up to see her, I use a local barber who just raised their prices up to $18/cut…

$12 for the cut, $15 with a tip. Although lately I’ve started cutting my hair myself, it isn’t as hard as many people think it is. :Р

Cut my own - shave it all off usually twice a week. Wife says I look much older when I let it grow.

About 13$, and it’s a bit on the pricey side of men haircuts here.
I tried to change a barber, big mistake.

Amazed at how much haircuts can cost in other places

I get mine for about US$2.50 in our village barbershop.

Other places can go as low as $1.00 to as high as $80

but then again, the minimum wage here is around $10 a day

I cut my hair at hairdressers only in Croatia, 4$ + 1$ tip, 3mm shave (and in the same time they shave my beard too, just with the machine). And just to say that in Croatia tips are not very usual thing, its not a rule-.

Its ridiculously low price and its the same probably 5 years already, or more, I cant believe it.

When I lived in India I was paying 1-2 dollars I think, I think much closer to 1 dollar, head/face massage and face washing included

+1

For a minute I thought I stumbled onto, BudgetHaircutForum.com

Nice RL photo Garry
jacktheclipper, is this your RL photo as well? holy C*rist where has our anonymity gone
(@jack, i’ve successfully sharpened 2 pocket knifes with the Taidea but failed to sharpen the tiny blade of a Ganzo multitool)

With 17€ i feel ripped off. Next time i’ll go to the competition. Male barber, charges maybe 10€ or so. Cuts horribly but … money saved for flashlights!! Next Black Friday is coming

I pay $31(wet cut) and I hate paying that much so I usually only go every other month. I got so many bad cuts when I was younger that even though I’m sure I could find someplace cheaper I’ve just stayed with the same place.

I think my only cheaper choice around here would be someplace like Supercuts which in my opinion aren’t so super!

It depends on your hair I think. I’ve never found a dry cut or cutting with an electric clipper to come out all that well unless you either want/like a “bowl” cut or a “military” cut.

Is anyone finding a wet cut for $20 or so?

The question would be Jack, who cuts your hair

I’m married to a mostly retired hair stylist, and my Mother-in-law is one too, so I never pay for a haircut… but it sure does cost me.

about $45 after tax + tips… that’s even after VIP 20% discount.
Things are becoming crazy expensive in Vancouver, Canada.

i made the observation that all (female) hair stylists look better than the average female in shops or in the streets. veeery nice looking .. and emphasizing their female attributes. back in high school we kiddos made fun of their out-of-the-norm female/sexy/cougar looks but growing older nowadays i certainly would admire a wife looking like one of them

could be a universal rule that female hair stylists look

My wife say this is absolutely true! She may be biased, though.

$16 plus tip, most relaxing 20 minutes of my week.

I pay around 170 DKr so thats about 28 USD. They do a nice job, in fact I have trouble remembering where else I have gotten such a good cut.
