"In My Life"

Performed by Laurence Juber

Here's a tasty version of the Beatles classic "In My Life."

Laurence Juber is a fingerstyle guitarist who is perhaps best known for his stint with Paul McCartney and Wings from 1978 to 1981.

For musicians: Check out the guitar lesson/analysis of "In My Life" posted to YouTube by Rick Beato.

Thanks for this.

I still miss Andy Goessling, the talented multi-instrumentalist (guitar, banjo, penny-whistle, saxophone, clarinet, etc.) of Railroad Earth, who passed away in 2018.

Nice stuff. Thanks for putting yourself out there!

since Sondheim died we have been binging….

Deep Purple’s drummer would be proud of this guy.

Right now I’m playing the Night Moves album by Bob Seger on vinyl. My stepdad has 2 crates of vinyls that are fortunately in decent shape, plus I’ve started buying my own.

I’m really enjoying listening to music this way, especially with my Audio Technica monitors.

I listen to this on repeat:

Christmas is coming lads…

Don’t forget 2009 UK #1 Christmas song:

Cheers Simon hahahahaha

“Waiting for the Sun” and “The Doors” albums by The Doors and a “Momentary lapse of Reason” by Pink Floyd. Those are my favorite vinyl records in my collection.

I hope they obtained permission from Leonard Cohen’s publisher to butcher his song for their purpose. He understandably didn’t write Christmas songs.
