I pay $31(wet cut) and I hate paying that much so I usually only go every other month. I got so many bad cuts when I was younger that even though I’m sure I could find someplace cheaper I’ve just stayed with the same place.
I think my only cheaper choice around here would be someplace like Supercuts which in my opinion aren’t so super!
It depends on your hair I think. I’ve never found a dry cut or cutting with an electric clipper to come out all that well unless you either want/like a “bowl” cut or a “military” cut.
i made the observation that all (female) hair stylists look better than the average female in shops or in the streets. veeery nice looking .. and emphasizing their female attributes. back in high school we kiddos made fun of their out-of-the-norm female/sexy/cougar looks but growing older nowadays i certainly would admire a wife looking like one of them
could be a universal rule that female hair stylists look
Like a few of the members here — I too shave my own head. I can’t remember the last time I paid someone to cut my hair. I think it was sometime in the late 90’s.
In here, I pay about 8-10€ for trainee cutting my hair.
Pro doing the same is about 17€ = All-Off and some 22€ for more precise cutting (10USD ->28USD).
When my wife gets her’s done, it’s a different story…
Wash, cut & color add up to some 90 - 130USD. I don’t even want to know specific…
Normally, I do my own ALL-OFF since at winter, my scalp dries up a bit, easier to lube.
I have some Babyliss trimmer, have had it for at least 5 years.
I cut my own hair for many years buzzed with a #2 until I met my fiance who just happens to be a hairstylist. Kreisler right, I feel lucky everyday when I wake up and look over at her.
