WTS - Loneoceans Garage Sale: Convoy S11 Host & more [US+]

[Updated 16 Dec 2021]

Hello all,

Welcome to my Garage Sale (Flashlights, Spare Parts from Projects etc). Having spent a while working on various flashlight projects, I've collected a few items. Some of them I no longer need mostly because I have a little too much on my plate and may be more useful to fellow flashlight enthusiasts. All items are priced reasonably I think; please drop me a PM if you're interested and give me your best offer (OBO).

I will be updating this page when items sell / have new items for sale. All items will be shipped within the continental USA only, otherwise shipping typically becomes >= cost of the item. (I don't mind shipping internationally, just drop me a PM if you're overseas and are OK with higher ship rates). USA Shipping and handling is typically $5 for regular USPS, or $10 for USPS Priority, subject to adjustments depending on the weight. Payment will be via PayPal. Thank you.

Sold Items

Fireflies E07 Original - Nichia 219B 4500K - 21700 Flashlight, Titanium - Sold

Condition - Very Good, never used outdoors before.

This is a fairly rare Fireflies E07 (original) Limited-Edition Titanium flashlight, with ice-blue AUX LEDs (including the switch), 25 deg TIR lens, 98% AR Coated glass lens, and takes 21700 cells (or 18650 cells with included adapter). LEDs are the excellent Nichia 219B SW45K R9080 4500K LEDs (x7).

It's a really beautiful flashlight and I would very much love to keep it, but I am thinking that it would be better off being well used and cherished by someone else, especially since I have another aluminium E07 which I use often. Very good condition and has never been used outdoors.

Lumintop FW1A with SST-20 (4000K CRI95) - 18650 Flashlight, $40 + Shipping OBO (Sold)

Condition - Open Box, Excellent.

I purchased this FW1A with my own money with the idea of developing a driver for it.

Images here and here.

However, I have moved on to some other designs and I would rather someone else make good use of this excellent flashlight instead of it collecting dust on my shelf. I found the SST-20 to be a nice match for this single reflector, providing a nice, useful beam (as opposed to the FW3 series which produces a wider, more floody beam). This uses the newer series reflector. I didn't notice any issues with it though since I do not have the older series reflector to compare with.

NLightD T90 with SBT90.2 - 21700 Flashlight, Black - (Sold)

Condition - New.

MSRP typically $111.95.

Images here and here.

This is a new condition T90 for sale. It comes with the original box and accessories including a 18650 adapter tube.

Please see here for the official details: https://www.nealsgadgets.com/products/nlightd-t90-flashlight

I am selling this because I found that for my use cases, I use throwers less than more floody lights. The T90 suited for the SBT90.2 LED because it has one of the largest heatsinking fins of its category.

Convoy S2+ FULL COPPER - HOST - 18650 Flashlight, Copper - (Sold)

Condition - New.

https://loneoceans.com/temp/sellbuy/convoys2plus_copper_1.jpg

This was a limited edition run of the Convoy S2+ in pure copper. It's the version with the square-cut grip pattern. I purchased this with my own money back in 2018, but I realized that I haven't made use of it. I think someone here on BLF would have much better use for it. While I love it, I think it's much better in someone's hands and used as a light.

Check out the awesome builds that people here have done with it: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/51666

This flashlight comes with an OP reflector, but NO driver and NO LED - it's just a host. Condition is pristine and new as shown. I'd love to see what you can build this up as.

Alright so this is an odd one.

I received this flashlight at no cost, unsolicited, after a customer purchased this light and requested for a full refund because the light was not working. For some reason, the distributor had this sent this to me after refunding the customer, presumably for me to investigate why it was not working.

It turns out that this flashlight had no issue at all and I verified that it was working perfectly well. After some investigation, I found out that the customer had tested this flashlight with a button-top VTC6 that he ordered together with the flashlight, and the battery turned out to be a little too long, causing the inner sleeve to not have contact (i.e. the tail-switch was not in contact and therefore the flashlight appeared to be not working). This flashlight, like the FW3A and their variants, work best with unprotected flat-top cells.

The distributor told me to keep this flashlight for myself and did not want it back, but I have no need for this since I already have a copper FW3C which I purchased at my own cost. I believe this would be better in the hands of someone who has better use with this light.

I was previously listing this item with an option to mod, but unfortunately some new commitments arose and I don't think I will be able to help with any additional mods. As a result, I am selling this item as it is.

Lumintop FW21 - 21700 Flashlight, Grey - (Sold)

Condition - Used lightly but in nice condition

I purchased this a while ago with my own money with the idea of using it for driver development, but I decided to work on the FW3A instead, so this has been collecting dust... Selling this flashlight the way I got it from the factory, no modifications.

LED - Luminous SST20 4000K

FW21 another backup

pm for you pal

I’ll take the copper s2

Thank you for your interest.

Dang. Missed the fw21. Always wanted to convert that ugly thing into a carclo quad.

Dang, Ti and 219b… Dare I ask what you are thinking on a price?

I'm not quite looking for the best price, I just want to make sure it will be with someone who will appreciate it well :).

$10 —— I was under the impression that you were suppose to list a selling price — Maybe I misunderstood For Sale thread rules

The FW1A… Is that from an early batch ?

EDIT: Looks like that is a later batch with the ‘Pro’ reflector. I’ll hold off for now. GLWS

Thanks. Could you please share some information about the differences between the batches? I'm not quite sure which one it is and I was not aware of any differences.

It’s all about the reflector. It used to fit very tight to the led and the beam was excellent. Then after the PRO was released they started using the reflector with the larger opening to save cost. Here is a pic from Bmengineer showing the original.

Now that I see you post a price, I’m so glad didn’t send my offer for the Ti E07 as it would have been insulting. I have 2 in copper and one in Clear Ano (all in 219b) and was just casually thinking of adding this Ti to the team. The E07 is probably my favorite light ever, but clearly I didn’t know what these in Ti cost. Still looks clean AF.

Copper S2+ received. My quest is over!
