This Shower Head works great — I usually have to drill out the water saver crap — this one was wide open

https://www.myvipon.com/product/9029764

interesting… I’ve just replaced 2 shower heads specifically for their low flow. Still more flow than I’d like.

I’d also ordered a Stank and the description says “Supporting standard 18650 rechargeable battery”. I would not have ordered if it wasn’t.

Mmmm... I saw that too. Might be "Chinese standard', not unlike 'Chinese lumens'; they can write anything they want, and Muggles won't know the difference anyway.

Image below is from the grey $7.99 light. The appearance of the apparent contact design on cell's end is why I became suspicious.

The image below is from the black $16.64 light on the same page. Same light, just different anodizing. Much more damning. The end cap looks to have a center spring contact as well as a raised contact ring that matches the ring around the center button of the cell. The contact assembly on the cell appears to be secured under the wrap.

To me, a proprietary cell of unknown origin for a light from an unknown manufacturer that requires said proprietary cell is a death knell for that product; glaring, planned obsolescence. Hope I'm wrong, because this light would be a very good addition to a vehicle for emergency use. But, I've become sensitive to deceptive marketing when claimed descriptions don't match images of the product.

BLF members - please, when your IPStank lights are received, let us know if a standard 18650 cell is truly compatible.

Well that Stinks!!!

I got mine - is it safe to try a regular 18650 ? Or would I be making my very own IED

I have the same question. I just received mine too. The center circle on the battery, on both ends is positive and the outer area is negative. So the stock battery
can be placed in the light either way and work fine. But what happens if a NORMAL 18650 is inserted???

I like the fact the window breaker end seconds as a cigarette lighter insert to enable you to recharge the flashlight and the other end allows you
to use it as a power bank.

I’ve seen batteries like tis before— I’m thinking it enables the charging circuit to work without the light being on

My order for two IPStank lights is "delayed in transit" and after seeing the above posts I decided to cancel before delivery.

I do not know how satisfying the answers would be, but you can ask the Amazon seller of this light questions by using the method below:

On the right side of the Amazon listing for the light, click on "EEtech" where it states "Sold by EEtech" which is just beneath "Ships from Amazon".

On the right side of the page which appears after you click on "EEtech" click on "Ask a question" where it states "Have a question for EEtech?".

you know you want one.
or seven. this one is $12.50.

Nerf discounted on Amazon.

Thank you for your question, ordinary batteries cannot be used, we are equipped with rechargeable batteries, which can be reused

That was my reason for ordering two of these lights also. At least charging the battery inside the Stank seems to work fine, I’m going
to keep them in the cars with the battery removed and only inserted in an emergency on the road. When the battery stops accepting a charge, I guess
it’ll be a throw-away light, or I’ll just check my other flashlights to see which ones fit those safety cones.

major Stink, not gonna open them, will return…

I am unsure if I am keeping mine or not. I would keep it just for the 2 cones, but they do not fit any other flashlight in my collection. I might keep it because it is so unique however the battery thing does bother me.

Woah that battery is scary, kill it with fire before it kills you.

Heh, my supplier had basically the same light and I sold nearly all I ordered (about 80) in 2 weeks for $7 each. I think there might be 4 or 5 left in the box. But I wouldn’t have one for myself, not with button cells and such weak output. That light has “muggle” written all over it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Besides, once the flex heads have been bent around a couple of times, they don’t always push back into the body the way they should. They get kinked.

how about 3 for $15?
rechargable, too.
