New Release Rider RX AA/14500 EDC Flashlight with Fidget

It’s just “Infinite Joy”, all you need in your life, don’t you know? Acebeam will make it happen… lol

A 2700K E70-AL!

Whatever it is, that blue peaking through the body tube gives me hope that it will use nested tubes like the E70 rather than a proprietary battery like the P15.

I think it’s something resembling a smaller E70 or revised TK18. Emitter is anybody’s guess; I hope it’s a Nichia B35A, though I suspect the Luminus SFT40 is more likely.

A free ACEBEAM flashlight for some lucky person here on BLF!

That would be nice. The shipping minimum is stupid. I had to skip the BF sale for the L18 which was (I think) 50% off.

A light that’s at least as bright as 5 nuculer explosions.

Acebeam X100?

A small pocketable 14500 LEP light, beautiful and done well?

Acebeam pen light?

Acebeam H30 V2.0 release and 50$+free shipping pre-sale action for BLF users. :sunglasses:

14500, Nichia 219F (5000K 90 CRI), 650lm/96m.

I guess it will be a 14500 nichia, maybe 5000k and 90cri about 650lm and shine about 96m, an included battery with usb c charging, but that’s only a guess! :stuck_out_tongue: :student:

I don’t really need anything but I do hope for a 90+ CRI XHP70.3 on an upgraded X70! :face_with_monocle:

Personally speaking, that clip is an abomination. Makes the light appear twice as thick, and wholly uncomfortable. Uh-uh.

ACEBEAM, which is the user interface? :innocent:

Yeah, I didn’t want to be the first one to say it. :innocent:

I always hated those 2-way or “cobra” clips. Too bulky.

This one’s, like, huge. :confounded:

So is the “fidget action” how it turns on/off or is the raised part on the end the power button? Looks promising except for the horrendous clip.

On their website they show how the outer sleeve moves. It appears to be a way to lock it out so that the button can’t be depressed while it’s in your pocket. The standoff clip is how you move the inner body while gripping the outer sleeve with some little detent balls holding the sleeve open or closed where the button is fully exposed or fully hidden. Edit that description may not do it justice. So locked it looks like it’s going to be 100 mm. And it looks like it may be slightly difficult to do with one hand. You certainly don’t want to get a lot of sand in there. 5000k is a no-go for me.

Clips are a bit ‘love or hate’ some use them, some remove them at the first oppertunity. If you use clips, this one looks very functional and strong to me, it’s not going to pop off and you can use it in a variety of ways.
What’s important for those who don’t like them is easy removal, and minute impact on the look of it after removal - I don’t like huge gaps where the clip ‘was’ ruining the look. Rovyvon s3 would be a prime example of that, and one I would have bought if not for the huge gap it would leave without a clip.
This light doesn’t have that huge gap which is a plus, and I do like the look of the light overall.
Maybe if it is screwed on (the clip) supply a couple of extra shorter screws to fill the holes after the clip is removed.
