Fireflies E07 nad PL09MU Antique-Color Brass versions are ALIVE

Just got info that Fireflies E07 Antique-Color Brass Limited Edition version will come back next month.

There won't be new batch of E07 full copper this year.

just sharing, if you are interested, observe the https://www.ff-light.com/

Super glad I got my Copper E07’s when I did. I couldn’t love them anymore. Nice to hear Brass is coming back though.

I believe I got one of the last full TI E07’s. It’s heavy but very cool.

https://www.reddit.com/r/flashlight/comments/rh457a/nmd_new_metal_day_coming_soon_antique_brass/

So it's:
- Antique Brass Fireflies PL47mu (I already have aluminium version)
- Antique Brass E07 (I already have CU TI version)
- Brass PL09mu

Looks amazing, though I don't care for brass.

Well if I can, I would take copper version over brass every time. But copper is not always available. That Brass PL09mu is tempting, but probably not enough to actually buy it.

it's here, for now there is a "Full Brass Special Edition" of the Fireflies E07 Brass Limited Edition

not sure if it's Antique-Color Brass version, or normal. No pictures of it.

I have confirmation, that this is normal brass.
The Antique-Color Brass version will come back this week.

That was a welcomed surprise. I thought it was only gonna be Antique Brass on one and Raw brass on the other. It looks like we might be getting both versions in both the E07 and PL09. The way Jack phrased it was that the Antique would be an option. So that leads me to believe that the new brass offerings will have the option of getting an antique version. I don’t know if the PL47’s (Non-MU) will get that option, since that one got copper, but we’ll see I guess.

I can’t wait to see the E07 or even the PL09 in Antique brass. I wanted a brass E07 before they went out of stock and would have totally brass-blacked it, but I missed my window. This new Antique and sealed option is even better than I could have hoped for. Brass black is not a “clean” substance and it does rub off onto things, so having one antiqued and sealed seems like the most perfect way to enjoy that look.

Yes there are 2 option for PL09MU and E07

The E07 Antique-Color Brass version is alive (+ 4$)

E07 Antique-brass version will come back in stock around 5th Jan. We will update photos soon.

And PL09MU Brass Limited Version is alive in Polished Brass, and Antique-color Brass options. (the web page is not loading for me, had to get it from HTML source code)

L09MU Antique Brass will come back around 5th Jan, We will update PL09MU antique-brass photos by then

the PL09MU in brass is beautiful

Well, there goes my first resolution break.

Do you happen to know if or when the NOV-MU will be back in stock?

From what I reed in the reddit and BLF, it seems the problem is with sourcing the constant current driver.
And that's why all flashlight that use that constant current driver are sold out. Only FET driver flashlight are available, or the one, that were built earlier, and are in warehouse.
But it's just speculation, didn't ask them about it.

And well, there's now problem with sorceing Nichia 219B SW45k D220 R9080 4500K too.

I bought the E07 on Nichia 219B SW45k D220 R9080 4500K, but they send me flashlight on Nichia 219B 4000K SW40 D220 R9080 without telling me.
And from what I red on reddit, I'm not the only one... that they did that.

Wow, that seems pretty shady. Thank you for letting me know!

imagine how beautiful would E07 look like, if you could buy it with that brass button

I was thinking that too, but I also love the dark smoke button because colors look stealthy behind it. But I still agree that brass button would look so good too.

Isn’t brass a bit of a problem in a light that can rapidly get very hot? Or is the heat dissipation differences between aluminum, copper, and brass only minor?

it depends on the type of brass, Yellow Brass (70% Cu, 30% Zn) is 111 (W/m K) so it's actually worse thermal conductivity than aluminium alloy, but still shouldn't make a problem.
The titanium is the real problem, because of it low thermal conductivity, and yes there was full titanium version of E07 once :D

Thanks. Yeah, I’ve completely avoided flashlights with titanium heads & bodies, except if it’s a small single cell EDC that doesn’t have much thermal generation to begin with. I’ve got just one — Olight S1 Ti Baton in polished titanium.

I have an E07 with the SW45K emitters and would be willing to trade for one with the SW40 emitters. If you are interested, PM me and I’ll provide photos.
