it’s red though from what I see…look at them at hke and it’s clearly red…not that bad…
Hopefully they didn’t make very many pink ones (red looks a lot better; hopefully that is closer to the actual color).
I wonder if they will be Firefly or Regular versions or if that will all be random as well.
Even a pink light is a bargain at $5.

Why random colours? When I ordered it showed black. Has something changed?
Basically, I think they were swamped, and can’t handle the demand. They are a small company, I imagine, so it will be all hands to the pumps after June 15th sending stuff out, and they don’t have the staff to sort things out. At $5 on a promotional deal, I can’t blame them.
I was also expecting a black firefly (order number 124), and would really like a firefly version. But, if it’s purple & 3lm low, so what? I give it away.

I don’t really care about the colour (but please no pink - I already gave my wife my supposedly purple Fenix E01). I was just wondering what was driving the concern. I haven’t seen anything from Thrunite that said that they might ship random colours. Did someone get an e-mail? Was there an update to their website? Or is it just speculation…
And right now “3900 Units in Stock”, almost 1 week later 
They have sold almost 1000 units in first 24 hours and only 150 in 1 week. I’m almost sure that those 1000 TIs were sold to unique, lest say, 300-400 users? That web isn’t so popular like DX, for example. Spread worldwide that offer will cost much more time that if it was DX. Just my .02.

They mentioned the 15th June after they saw they couldn’t handle the volume. I suppose you didn’t read an earlier post of mine. I will be away for 2 months, and if something comes through the post, it stays at the post office one month, then being undelivered it gets returned back… So I am not being unreasonable trying to contact them to see if they have one t ship now, or cancel, or at least give someone elses address so that the offer doesn’t go wasted…
As for giving them a break… well after 3 days and no reply even to say: “we received your message, we will get back to you within 48 hours” or just a word, any word, sorry but for me they suck… I suppose they will bother to reply after a week? Never maybe? And no I never asked for a tracking number.
Wont your pst office hold your mail for you if you ask? They certainly will here.
