Two AA lights, two 18650 lights and one 26650.
Notice how the heights are not much different.
Though oddly enough the two 18650s on the right seem very different in hand feel/size even though the difference is less than 1cm.
I find very small details can make a light a lot more or less comfortable to carry. Small length/width differences can be significant. Certain exterior features, especially protrusions, can ruin pocketability. And the clip can make or break a light.
DQG Tiny 18650 is one of my favourite lights ever.
Feels well in hand. Not very heavy for the size. Extreme runtime for the size. Bright enough. With Folomov cell it doubles as a powerbank.
The only drawback is that switches break off from time to time.
I wish someone made a better version with BLF UI, aux lights and reinforced switch. It wouldn’t be a pocket rocket but extremely practical workhorse.
Almost the same exact size in both diameter and length (literally within a coupla mm), both with usb charging and sideclicky, yet the MH takes a full 18650 whereas the i332 only fits a 16340 (not even an 18350).
That Romisen must be almost 20 year old! I still have one; my first momentary on switch light. Something is wrong with the driver but it works with the NiMh. Compared to current similar form factor light, the Romisen is strictly for nighttime “don’t destroy my nightvision” light but I am still fond of it.
Kaidomain has the Black DQG Tiny 4. Well at least they say they do. I bought a grey one about a year ago from them. After emailing George to buy directly from him and, not getting a response I found them on Kaidomain and took the chance and ordered one.
I have ordered lots of things from Kaidomain and always had great service. I was just nervous about buying a light that isn’t made anymore, I could be wrong, from the only place that says they have them. Ordered it and it showed up about a month later.
