Monster light Trustfire x100

That’s good to hear, do you have some good batteries and a good DMM or something?

Else the first thing that we’d hear from you is “###!## That ## thing is @# bright!!

It’s usd29 for me here, via China Post air mail registered, and it could take anywhere from 3 weeks to 5 weeks for your location (and that’s no fault on the seller). Good for you.

I have ordered Trustfire 5000mAh protected 26650’s for this. Unfortunately I have ordered these on Ebay with standard shipping. Most probably (and sadly) these will arrive later than the flashlight and I will have to wait until I receive them before I can give you the tailcap readings. I could test with Panasonic 18650’s though (which I have for my Solarforce L1200). I have a Fluke DMM, so that end is covered.

I have ordered one too, i will have it very soon, paid dhl shipping, maybe monday or tuesday it will be here. Lets see what we got!

Ergotelis whould be able to give us pretty accurate OTF lumens and kcd readings.

You won’t be able to use 18650s in that light, unless you have other lights like Shadow 26650 lights which come with the PVC tubes.

Great, looking forward to it. Sorry i can’t order lights to try as i wished like last time…. so have to be really careful and get lights that are worth it nowadays.

Well that is almost the same for me, i am in Greece, don’t forget, we are facing great economic problems as a country and the future is uncertain. At least when i manage to sell some flashlights to make room for new ones, i pick some to see what we have, and this one looks to be worth buying. Can’t wait to receive it!

Tracking information received. The monster is on it’s way.

Possibly on Wednesday i will have it, it is on its way via DHL.

Nice, looking forward to see review from you guys

Gracias!

It has arrived.

It looks very good, very nicely machined, smooth threads, good anodizing, the head is amazingly big and heavy (503 gr.). The head diameter is 75 mm, length without extension tube is 347 mm, total length with extension is 415 mm. It’s big, but in three cell configuration it’s not to big. In four cell configuration it’s to long to my liking. But run-time is no issue for me, so I will use it in three cell configuration.

Got mine too, I am posting through mobile, will later post on my PC,took a lot of pictures.it is amazing, measured 3240 otf with 4 cells and 3370 with 3 cells, though it was declining, have to make runtine graph.lux with 4cells is 37900. Have a lot more measurements will post all of them later!

BEAST MODE!!

I read 3,65 A at the tailcap with three AW 2600mAh . These are 18650’s as I don’t have 26650 yet.

Size comparison, from left to right; Trustfire x100, Solarforce L1200, SkyRay 3xT6

Very poorly equipped beamshot comparison of the three formentioned flashlights.

1. Solarforce L1200

2. SkyRay 3T6

3. Trustfire x100 (this one lit up my complete back garden, amazing amount of light)

In the pictures there doesn’t seem to be much difference between the SkyRay 3T6 and the Trustfire x100, but believe me, the difference was quite noticeable. Pictures were taken with my Galaxy tab 7.7, will try to take better pictures soon.

The hotspot on the X100 looks masive. Nice shots.

Other than this info, here are some current measurements:
3Cell: 3,44amp/1,97amp/0,45amp
4Cell: 2,27amp/1,37amp/0,36amp

Batteries are some nice kingkong 26650 of the good ~4500mah(measured with a discharging hobby charger), not completely charged. ~3,95V at idle.

The flashlight is massive, light output is massive. Can’t wait to do some nice outdoor beamshots!
The body is fitting with the TR-J12, so i can put an extra adapter to make it a 5 Cell flashlight.
Some pictures from my mobile uploaded in this album, where you can see weight, diameter, parts, a comparison against TR-J12 etc:

Wow!!! 8)

Wow great pics so far. Makes the J12 look like a minimag!!

Woohoos….i said 3200L OTF. Do i get a prize?

Wow….close to 40k cd for 3-cells, that is bad ass. It ~ matches the Thrunite TN30 for throw and has about 25% more lumens OTF, with a slight smaller head diameter and magnitudes more efficiency (less heat, able to gun longer, more battery runtime etc).

This is both a flooder and a thrower.
