Sorry, we afraid we have to delayed 3-5 days because of near the spring festival holiday of China, many workers leave early so Assembly efficiency becomes lower
I suppose that the camouflage effect is the reason for the higher scrap rate of the blue/pink version? In that case, a plain blue version would be nice, or any of the other existing solid colors, as long as there’s an option besides Boring Black.
But what I’d love more is a version with the rubber switch, like the picture of the prototype that was posted. :smiling_imp:
Glad to see Sofirn had adopted silicone diffusers, which I suggested to Barry. They’re more flexible and tolerant of small size differences, and have a better retention grip than rigid plastic ones.
I’d also like to see Wurkkos make an attempt at the Stormtrooper-esque white finish with black trim like Olight is doing. Not sure how practical, or costly, it is, but it does go beyond the standard black, and other anodized colors.
You’re very right. After you posted the weights I decided to get a Sofirn HS05 specifically for a backup headlamp. And then I purchased a Nite Ize Lite Holster Stretch with rotating clip for the HD20. One can easily rotate the clip 180 degrees to force the light upright—and flush/snug—against a backpack strap (without sliding down).
The holster fits the IF22A and my IF25A, too. I always wondered if this holster would comfortably stretch to accommodate the two IF lights I own and it does. It is a better fit-for-purpose design than the lashing-to-a-pack-strap-with-paracord idea I had in case the HD20 was too heavy for prolonged head wear. I am curious to see if a HD20 shortie will securely fit into the stretch holster without popping out the top (with the head still able to fully clear the top of the holster).
I guess I’ll see. The shorter Wurrkos tube order is still en route.
