I was perusing the convoy store and noticed one of the most sold s2+ is with a UV emitter. Why are these so popular and why do I need one?
My budget is 1 light order per fortnight and in the current fortnight ive ordered 4 so im holding back!
Collect millipedes and scorpions, detect urine and blood. Portable blacklight for parties. Some can detect counterfeit money.
Depending on where you live, selling scorpions can be somewhat profitable, if you’re into that sort of thing.
I personally have much more fun with battery powered laser light shows like this.
Use adhesives that require UV light to cure.
Eyesight can be damaged if used incorrectly.
the tiny UV lights, are too dim to do anything in anything but total darkness
and even so they don;t really show much beyond 4-6 feet
depending on pattern and power
You can show your gf/wife urine stains on the bathroom walls walls after your gf/wife finish cleaning.
i can tell you are not happily married 
1, Everything white in your home “glows” when you shine a UV light on them. Lots of fun.
2, Check if your laptop / mouse / keyboard / screen…needs a good disinfectant wipe. You’ll be surprised how nasty they actually are (if you don’t wipe them every other day w/ alcohol wipes).
3, Install stuff, like tritium tubes, with UV glue.
UV light causes scorpions to glow nicely.

i doubt any light powered by a tiny battery, has enough uv energy to cause problems
i mean the sun;s UV is about 100000000 times stronger
you can also ‘quick charge’ any glow in the dark item

The sun also emits visible light so your pupils in your eyes contract to reduce the light getting in. Pure UV doesn’t have same effect so your pupils pen up to let more light in…ooops.

The real question is: Convoy S2 or S2+? Or Convoy S2 plus plus filter? 
And has lousy aim.

We use our UV S2+ with a ZWB2 lens to find puppy urine in carpeting. My youngest son (19) is into rocks these days and has take over the flashlight to illuminate a variety of them.
Always add the ZWB2 filter if you’re serious about this…
