China Post mail tracking appears to be broken - Back again 2011/01/20

One little thing i like about DX is that you can click on the tracking number and it takes you to the PO mail tracking page. Unfortunately for any tracking number ending in CN, it appears to be broken just now - China Post's mail tracking servers don't seem to want to play today.

So did some digging. Track-trace.co can't get info out of China Post's servers either.

This is one more reason, for keeping the shops using China Post on my "avoid" list.

Same here, I noticed that DX switched from HK post to China post for parcels with tracking

Yes , it also doesn't work in China , but now it works well .

It doesn't matter if it works or not. Anyway the information there is nonsense. I'm still waiting the two orders from LT #Q1118214894 and #Q1130199083. CP tracking says they were on the way since 11/27/2010 and 12/24/2010. Well, they lie. No trace to find on our local post tracking. Customer service just fed me up with some canned text. "Please wait one week more blah, blah..."

It's functioning now. At least it says that all the stuff from DX has either arrived at the Shenzen PO, or has left China - the wording is not entirely clear. Looks like the HK Post stuff is on its way too.

Sadly, my local tracking service just doesn't work for incoming international stuff. All I ever get is:

We are currently unable to confirm that status of your parcel. Please check the number and try again. Please note that items sent over 4 months ago cannot be tracked online. If you are tracking a parcel sent from outside of the UK, we may not have received it yet. Please try again or use the help button below.

Even after it has arrived.

Today I received a big envelope delivered by HKP shipped on 10/27/10 ! almost three months ..It was a soldering iron buyed at FP , I was afraid it was rejected by customs officials due the electrical regulations issue but the info in the post office say that it entered the country yesterday !
