Nothing new, it is trapped dust got magnify by its inner convergent lens. Unless the light is totally sealed inside a clean room, there bound to be very small amount of dust inside every flashlight.

This is an engineering sample, so it is possible that few people could have worked on this unit before they handed over to us.

Differences:

  1. Brand new 2-piece shell design that breaks open from head only.
  2. v2 uses a smaller size LEP model. It adopts a mirrorless design like THOR II and Ant.
  3. v2 has more intense and focused beam.
  4. User interface:
    • v2 H-L with (3s off time memory) / strobe (double tap)
    • v1 L-M-H (nex mode memory)

Raw aluminium will be interesting, but most probably they would launch it in Ti instead.
