This battery has a high voltage at low loads.
Conclusion
The high voltage at low loads can be an advantage in smaller (i.e. 3-4 watt) lights where the battery replaces two CR123 cells.
All in all a very good battery.
Nothing, both the 2900mAh and 3100mAh Panasonic are very good cells, but the 3400mAh cell is slightly better, it has higher capacity and it also looks like it has a higher voltage under load.
But if you ask what battery is best for the money, it will be the 2900 or 3100 mAh cells.
Great news because I’m standardising on the 3100mAh Panasonics and will be retiring the old Ultrafires as soon as I have enough of the Panasonics … Many Thanks for your input.
.
I bought my Panasonic 3100mAh cells from here … They send the cells by “International Signed For” … It takes about 10 to 14 days to South Wales … I’ve just sent for some more.
