Yep. Forgot which model, but one of my color Nokia candybar phones which I loooooved starting getting crappy battery life. Used to go 2wks between charges if no phonecalls, then got to only days before I had to recharge. Figured, okay, it’s the battery, so swapped in a brand new one from another same-model phone (used to get ’em essentially free if you’d buy airtime), and took apart the old battery.
F’n thing had the same exact battery life with the unused battery! I figure their “updates” f’ed with the charging algorithm, standby power draw, anything, that’d kill battery life.
My Nuron is also on its last balls, too. Damned good battery life ’til all of a sudden it went to shiite. Literally as if someone flicked a switch. Now, it’ll go from 4-5 battery-bars to 1-2 with minimal interaction (call, display, etc.), then bwoop-bwoop its “feed me!” warning.
That’s why I HATE OTA “updates”. I had unwanted UI changes, new crapplets installed, new/broken versions of stuff I used, all kinds of annoyances.
Back when I was a kid, this kid from across the street saw a cat taking a dump in someone’s front garden. He froze, mesmerised, just staring at the spectacle.
When the cat was done, the kid then blurted out, “Wow, that cat took a helty schitt”.
Just the way it came out (the comment) just struck me as hilarious.
Great stop motion CGI (2014). I wonder if they used studio takes as seed material to build on. Stitching scenes together.
Anyways, I’d like to find a ‘behind the scenes’ video.
