I almost yelled at the screen when he left all the laser-marks in/on the pan before just continuing on like nothing.
I restored a coupla cast-Fe pans (still using the small one for eggs practically every time I make ’em), and while they weren’t so far gone, you don’t just leave ’em like that.
Wire-brush to get off the main grunge. Steel wool to grind it away ’til shiny and smooth. Wipe down, wash, wash again, scour, rinse’n’repeat ’til it’s perfect. Then season it.
Yeesh. Like that Choinese fella who used to hang off the edges of buildings for lulz. Had “sponsorships” so he could pay for his mum’s medical expenses or something.
Anyway, one day he just couldn’t hold his grip, couldn’t climb back up, and dropped off the side of a building. Didn’t go splat way down on the sidewalk, but like 5 stories below where he landed on a wider section of the building.
Only vague recall, can’t remember details…
There’s that dope who rides his hoverboard just inches away from the edges of building-roofs that we’ll one day read about, too.
Ah, here we go…
We’re polishing up the Darwin Award, just to be prepared.
Confirmed with my UV flashlight too. Thought maybe it was specific to a type of peanut butter, but it also worked on the all natural stuff which is just peanuts and salt. Strange!
Well now that’s just weird! I thought maybe it was the plastic jar but no, the peanut butter does it on its own. Just poked a Nichia in a jar and it does get that glow. Says peanuts, salt, palm oil, and sugar on the label. I wonder if it’s something in the peanuts, since NeutralFan’s doesn’t have the oil, which was my first thought.
I just happened to have the same peanut butter as in the video.
I used my Manker MC13 that I regularly use to blast all my GITD stuff.
Couldnt believe it worked.
Side note. JIF is the only good peanut butter.
And their “dark roast” one is even better.
