UPDATE,April,11,2022
Sofirn has confirmed with me the LT1M will be offered in the same Orange, Green & Black colors as the full size LT1 Lantern

Very Nice

Looks like I will be getting one of each.

(Don’t add me to the list I am already there for 2.)

I just got my mini lantern in the mail today. :+1:
It will be a great addition to my camping gear.

Would a magnet be included in the base?

Please put me down for two more.

Not planned at this time due to keeping costs per unit down.

No red

Again

In for 2 thanks!

Just so I’m clear, the LT1 Mini is already for sale on Sofirn’s site, so our interest list here is for a discounted group buy? This model will look especially good in the same LT1 colors.

Thanks!

Hmm, the Sofirn store website only has black currently. I was al set to buy (with a coupon, even) until I realized that. Any hints at some kind of spearate site or links for the other colours?

Got my LT1 mini in today. It looks boring but I like it, it is useful.

One useful thing that they missed doing: the thing tailstands ok, although the base is relatively narrow for uneven surfaces, but in potential it should headstand extremely well but instead it wobbles because of two bits sticking out from the rim. Those bits are not needed so can be sanded off for a much improved headstand). And if you are into modding anyway, after sanding, buy a chunky 3mm thick 30mm diameter neodymium magnet (i.e. here ) and glue it on top.

Measurements:

*Standby current with switch light engaged: 380 micro-amps (more than a year on a 4000mAh 21700 battery)

*Current at lowest setting: 12.8mA. (13 days continuously)
Edit: this was in simple UI, in advanced UI it is lower: 4mA/40 days.

Current at highest setting: 1.4A (almost 3 hours)

*Tint at warmest: bit under 2700K, duv +0.0030, CRI 94.5, tint does not change much with output.

*Tint at coolest: about 4700K, duv +0.0050, CRI 92, again tint does not change much with output.

*Tint in the middle: 3700K, duv +0.0013, CRI 94

*Lowest output about 1.3 lumen, highest about 180 lumen, no great difference between the tints. Edit: the lowest in advanced UI is lower: 0.4 lumen.
(with the notice that these numbers are approximate because my sphere does not easily measure lanterns: you have to lower it inside the sphere to prevent too much light directly escaping through the entrance hole, but then some light goes past the baffles directly on the luxmeter sensor giving a bit too high reading).

Someone will probably 3D print a base for it, just like the original LT1.

And that base makes my LT1 so much more usable

Or stick it into an old pill pot

Somewhere it was suggested that the top have a threaded hole that you could use for stowing a wide, detachable base on. I thought that was a great idea. Especially if the bottom had an identical attclaching method, whether 1/4-20 bolt hole, cylindrical slip fit, or magnet.

No, no threaded holes on top or bottom. I assume that would have required much ticker aluminium and on the bottom it would have made the light longer.

I’m willing to design and print a base for the Mini when I get mine.

Can someone clarify for me, what’s the purpose of the interest list when you can order the Mini directly on the sofirn website?

A large interest list on BLF can convince a manufacturer to make a wished-for flashlight. Often we want new concepts in flashlights, this is seen by chinese manufacturers as a risk. So it is not just about arranging discounts.
