Very good, I use those to convert my Vapcell T42 from flat-top to button-top

Could someone please post a link to the mentioned 21mm Convoy spacers?

I placed one of these between two 40T cells and it seems to work well.

Thanks JordanZHP.

Could I have the coupon please Freeme?

The coupon is in the first post right under the discounted prices

Got mine today. Thanks Freeme!

The batteries that are included in the package aren’t actually button tops. They’re flat tops with a small copper (?) Disk soldered on.not sure what type of 21700 they are. they have a dark grey wrap and say “21700hp 3.7v 3000mah 20c”. They came pretty low charge so they’re on the charger now.

i can test the lvp on this light next week with a PS at work.

RIP our cell if you try

Strange cells O_0 you have a picture for share?
It’s would be sad to damage “special” cell

Yeah I’m going to use a bench top power supply and see how low I can drop the voltage. Hopefully it’s simple and doesn’t damage anything. Also hopefully this picture of the battery uploads right. If not here’s the link

Ho, sorry, I’ve forget it’s you who have say he can try with external power supply.
Normaly no, just open the circuit

Thank’s for sharing

Strange “custom”, If they works :innocent:
Never see button top solder in this way.
HP remember Nitecore classification cell, same cell with same capacity with various head, HP/HPI ….

Holy crap! Has anyone confirmed this light actually has temperature control?it gets too hot to hold and fast! Love the amount of light but I’m going to need gloves the next time I use it.

@madcrisis, the temperature control does work, but I think I saw one of TacGriz’s post and the temperature at which the flashlight throttles is rather high.

To be honest though, this was not unexpected: you’re consuming about 200W+ on turbo, which mean passive cooling in this form factor is out of the question.

NS59v1 was a HUGE hit at the Texas Flashlight Club meeting tonight. It blew everything else we had (MF01S, MF01X, X50 CRI) out of the water.

Cant wait to get mine! :sunglasses: What cells were you using?

To be fair, I’m sure the X50 CRI has a rather significant advantage over the NS59v1 :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m using P42A’s I salvaged from a dead X50 battery pack right now. I’m getting 22,000lm @ turn-on with those. Neal is sending me some of his “special” batteries that will allegedly fix the fact that my sample does not have LVP. I’ll measure output with those too.

And vice versa, since one is 1/4 the price of the other. Here are beamshots if you want to take a look.

NS59v1 & X50 CRI

MF01S 6500K & MF01X

These really don’t capture just how wide and bright the spill is from NS59v1. That’s the most impressive thing about it.

Well maybe, but for the price? No way. I have one hopefully coming for review (if Neal gets around to sending it). On paper, this could be the most powerful affordable flashlight ever. 28,000 Lumens for under $100 is insane. I actually believe Nightwatch Lumen numbers…the NI03 I tested got super close to advertised, off by 150 lumens and I think this will get close to 25,000 on 30ts.

Since this light uses an extension tube, I’m wondering if the driver could take more than 2x 21700 batteries? As it would make for a great long run time baton.

@glenn7, I’m sure it could take more cells. However, you’d have to make your own parallel pack if you do not want to melt the driver lmao.
